What Do You Think Needs An Update?

I don't get your meaning of "true purpose" and I believe we have different meanings of the same 2 words. I don't think his (salted) true purpose behind wynncraft is to make money, rather money was a secondary thing that came with making an mmorpg in minecraft. Salted didn't just think, "Oh let me develop this mmorpg in minecraft which will take years of effort and time to develop for money." No he developed wynncraft to create a unique experience in minecraft, and money always came second. Like Grian and Salted have stated before, gameplay comes first always before ranks, cosmetics, etc. I don't believe Salted changed his "true purpose" from developing a mmorpg in minecraft for others to enjoy to "I want money." Even if Wynncraft is his literal job, that does not equal the "true purpose" of the server as a whole. The server as a whole does not just exist to give him money. It exists to create a unique mmorpg experience in minecraft. Money was never first, it was always a secondary thing.

 

Can we please have the nether but that...works? like i use intel builds so if i go there i got a 100% chance of failing miserably.

 

In the perspective of Salted it is his first priority. That quote you mentioned was in terms for the playerbase not Salted. So yes, money comes late in the list of priorities in the interest for the players. In the eyes of Salted, if he isn't making money he's done for. His livelihood relies on this server, and on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs basic needs are the first priority of any human being.

Rework loot drops. It seems items drop when they are not supposed to and don't drop when they are. Maybe looking at when and where items of different types are supposed to or should be expected to drop would be a good start.
Also, yea combat is kinda sad. Melee archer is ouch. Defense is sbrawkcad ssa and vanish is the worst/boring.

 

give us like any tier 3 or 4 chests

Changing it back to 70 would be cool but like 100 is really cool. Yes I know that means more people benefit from each bomb

 

The quest helmets need to be changed to be like the Creeper Mask or Breathing Helmet.
They take up so much room when you have 13 classes all with tons of helmets.
Gert Mask would be really easy, just have a buyable one in the Gylia Watch for 6 Gert Skin or something.
The Helmet of Shimmering Light is a stupid idea anyway.

I'm sure there would be better ways to have the others obtainable too.

 

I want bosses to be added
No, Qira and Bob aren't bosses, they are just normal enemies with too much health

 

The entire loot system (boring, unrewarding, unsatisfying.)

The entire war system (not even remotely challenging + the same as above.)

The entire approach to "balancing", nerf, nerf, nerf, nerf, nerf, for every 10 items that get nerfed maybe 1 or 2 actually get a well deserved buff (that actually makes a difference), how to de-fun an RPG: 101

I totally agree, even the 'stage' bosses such as Amadel aren't even that interesting.
I'd love it if they made more bosses into a similar style to Redbeard in Galleon's Graveyard whereby something external has to defeat the boss. - Maybe with some bosses you would have to collect parts to a weapon (e.g. a cannon) like a fuse, gunpowder and a ball from around an arena with the boss in, and then once you've brought these items to a certain place, you can start to deal damage to the boss via Cannonballs.

Dungeons are pretty good for this tbh, Garoth, Charon and Redbeard are all pretty fun bosses (Except for the damage that Garoth does mixed with flamethrower)

 

The Fallen Factory boss is my favorite enemy in Wynn. Such a good fight in terms of actual mechanics and flavor.
