I feel like people are purposely making the defenses as bad as possible in a joke sort of way (e.g. Pandemonium, Achilles, Warchief, Event Horizon) without actually trading the elemental defenses for other stats (e.g. Agi, Def, Mana, Damage).

In other words, it feels like people are making defenses worse just for the sake of making the defenses worse, which didn’t seem to be the intention of YY’s post.

But hey, the builds still are interesting so that’s nice.

Wait, those have mostly positive defenses. The reason why I didn't post more builds is because getting around -200 ele defenses AND other good stats is really hard since most good items have lots of positive defenses and/or no negative defenses (except items like brainwash and synapse).

I guess I didn't worry about the fact that it has -434 Air defense. But yeah, there aren't actually many items that penalize elemental defenses in exchange for other combat benefits. Discharge, Warchief, and Accelerator are the biggest ones that come to mind.

I was avoiding the easy -ele rainbows. They also are primarily melee, which isn't great since you've got low defs. It's best to keep spamming spin and multi-hit to avoid damage as much as possible.
