can mythics be found in t1 and t2 chests

what is the % of getting a mythic

 

most of them can be found on all chests, some are exclusive to T3 and T4 chests like boots and discoverer

so many people say different odds i don't even know anymore

 

Mythics are mob drops, therefore they can be found in any tier of loot chests. Conventional wisdom holds that the mythics drop rate is 1 in 142857, although that is very vague. Point being, they are a few hundred to about a thousand times rarer than legendaries.

Edit: Forgot to mention that mythic armor is indeed loot-exclusive, i.e. only found in T3/T4 loot chests.

wait one more: if you are higher level than the mythic range (since no mythics are above level 100), do you have a lower chance of getting them when you are above level 100

 

No, once you reach the Mythic level you keep the chance of finding that Mythic no matter how much further you progress past it. The only reason you may be less likely to find a specific mythic is because you have a chance of finding a bunch of other mythics when you are max level

 

Is that confirmed? According to https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/psa-regarding-item-bomb-item-levels.245596/ you cannot get items outside your level range (+ or - 4 from current level). Since 104 is new max and 100 is the lowest end of the range, according to that thread you can only get Fatal since it is the only lvl 100 mythic. That thread only discussed item bombs but I also have this handy dandy quote here:

 

If you're level 104, item bombs use that level but loot chests will use 100. Don't know about the rest, but if more mythics meant a higher chance of finding mythics, I think we would have found out through testing.

 

There is a correlation between mythics and chance. It's 0% when there are no mythics and 1/7million when there are. Also, testing for mythics as in opening 5k+ chests to test my value? Slaying 142857 mobs? Really you'd need to do that a lot more times to get an accurate test/experiment, so idk what you mean there.

That is not the drop rate. I derived 142857 mobs/mythic using the 1/7million drop rate. The only event we should be talking about referencing mythic drop rates is 1/7million. 142857 is extra nonsense as it's just an estimation using 1/7million on mobs.

 

"Testing" - Meant more like observation. But I misinterpreted your post anyway so it's a moot point.

Hm, I'm fairly certain the 7/999999 figure has been used authoritatively in the past, although personally I'm not convinced the drop system is simple enough for the drop rate to be reduced to a number like.

 

That's why I included the quote from jpresent. I really want to know what the system for dropping items is not just "it happens and here's an arbitrary chance for x rarity item".
