actually, this isn't a terrible idea
i mean, sure, it still puts the le back into the market- but at the current price of weathered
once 7 of them disappear, then weathered prices will raise significantly
it wouldnt do anything crazy like fully fixing the economy, but having large chunks of mythics taken out of the economy could starting helping the economy

That's not how it works, since they're buying Weathereds it's just a localized price increase in Weathereds relative to everything else (which will go down in price by a tiny amount, ceteris paribus).

The way to "fix" the economy would be to prevent any inflow or outflow of emeralds. A net balance is not going to fix the economy, it's just going to transfer wealth in the long run. (neither of those are necessarily a good thing)

Honestly, I don't really think there's anything wrong with the economy, besides the mythic price gap - which is less about the economy and more about the fact that mythics are so much rarer than everything else.
