Some Crafting Questions...

I am trying to craft a couple things in game, and I have some completely random questions about crafting:

1. How much is an obelisk core worth?
2. How much would a ring with 162 durability, 15% XP bonus, and 14% melee damage sell for? (ring level 60) (unanswered)
3. Does ingredient effectiveness affect durability? I don't think so but I couldn't find an answer.
4. (opinion question) say I want a level 50 jeweling ingredient, is it better to grind in level 50 areas or look in level 50 loot chests?
5. How much does the tier of the material affect the base durability and ingredient outcome?
6. What is the base durability of a crafted item (level 60) if crafted with tier 3 ingredients?

If you have any answers to some of the questions, please post it would really help!

 

1. Est. 1 LE or so but not certain. They're quite useful in crafting.
3. Not anymore - it used to but that was changed about a month (?) ago.
4. Depends on the ingredient. If you're just looking for leveling ingredients, grinding is better.
5. Roughly, using T1s is 50 less durability than T2s, and that is 50 less than T3s (you can also use T2 of one material and T3 of the other, or stuff like that, which I assume would be midway in between). For armor and weapons the tier of material also affects the base health and damage. Tier of materials used has no effect on the outcome of ingredients.
6. Roughly 330-340 (I know this value because I'm currently using a level 60s crafted item).

Also one more question:
If I craft something with the following repice:
[X] [ ]
[Y] [Z]
[ ] [ ]
Where X is bob's tear, will it also affect ingredient Z, and not just Y? (Bob's tear affects ingredients below it)

 

Only Ingredient Y is affected. Ingredient Z will not have the 35% effectiveness boost.

 

As Altakar said. Howver, also note that Bob's Tear will affect all slots below it, so in this case it will also affect the slot I marked with a red W.

Basically nothing. It doesn’t really have any merit.

 

Not much because Rarity exists, and melee boosters are usually going to be able to go much higher than that.
