Got Muted

So, yeah. I got into the server and in 5 seconds got muted, I deserved it. But the thing I'm wondering is how long does it last? It's saying to go appeal, but that's only for bans and idk how those two go together. Can someone please just tell how long it lasts or how to appeal, cuz I don't want to be muted for the rest of my time on the server.

Don't ask about it unless you really don't want it lifted.
ask about it if it has been a week and you've been on for few hours at least.
