yeah its defences aren't great, is there are way to fix that? preferably no hive, mythics, or LI items because im bad, and I would like to keep the weapon

I havent applied powders so apply as needed, but keep in mind im poor so yea thanks

 

If you don't have access to Infused Hive Dagger, definitely use Black because unfortunately Thrunda is kind of bad (also your build has no mana).

- Steel Wool=knockoff Cinderchain
- Reach 94 Intelligence if possible.
- If you can afford it (i.e. enough skill points), swap one Finesse for a Clay (it's better to use Clay for +50 Earth Def and cover Air with powders, instead of doing the opposite with Puff).
- Nearly 9k spins, good mana sustain (especially with Chain Lightning triggering mana steal frequently), no Hive, LI, or Mythics. Black is OP
- And of course, you can dual-wield Sitis for Water damage and Amadeus for mana regen/out-of-combat.

 

Is there a benefit for using steel wool instead of cinderchain? And how do u recommend I powder up my armor?

 

Cinderchain is pretty much better in every way, you said no Hive so I didn't know whether you were including Elemental Hive in that as well or just Master Hive. Black is really good because there are a lot of items like Cinderchain that synergize with it really well.

 

Which element is cinderchain? If it’s one of the lower ones I might be able to solo it or drag in a friend
Edit: this might be a dumb question but why is atlas in there? It lowers attack speed by a ton

 

Cinderchain is Fire division. The enemies in fire division are really annoying - as @Shots said in his video, Earth is slow and strong, Air is fast, etc. but Fire is just all-around strong - but the boss is pretty easy outside of his gimmick of being practically immune to three elements. Every mob in the Fire division has a water weakness though.

Atlas lowering attack speed is intentional - slower attack speeds mean you can spend less time meleeing (since slower attack speed -> higher chance of mana steal/life steal activation per melee) and more time using your spells.

Moon Pool Circlet -> Summa once again, Anima -> Darksteel Full Helm, I guess

imo, first three divisions should be doable even with only a few parts of a build, and if you're using thrunda ripsaw/black water division should not be a problem either. soloing fire division is hard even with a water build but cinderchain is worth it for a black build
