Expectedly, a couple more debris falls from the top of the building and the sound of sirens can be heard in the distance.

James sighs and hangs up on the phone.

As if on cue, Arya finally decides to show up. James notices some instant differences.

Arya's blond hair has seemed to change to black / grey hair and the color of her eyes have changed to a greyer tone compared to her previous bluish eyes. She was also much more pale and heavy eye bags were apparent under her eyes.

"You look like shit," James says pleasantly.

"You also look like shit," Arya says noting some of his new scratches and bruises from his fall earlier off the Empire State Building. Then Arya notices Kayla tucked in his bed. "Aww, how cute, you really did fall for Kae!"

"Shut up, why the hell are you acting so weird?" James clears his throat. "Anyway, I have something actually important to talk about."

Arya gasps jokingly. "You two are in a relationship now!?"

"No, what the hell!?" James goes a little red. "Can you actually shut up and listen to me?"

Arya obliges but a smirk is still lit up on her face.

James rolls his eyes. "...Okay listen... I think the Guardian Angel Corvus has died."

Arya's smirk disappears, replaced with a neutral expression. "And... why do you think that?"

"The totems started reappearing."

Arya doesn't have a noticeable reaction. "Okay? Well, I mean I have the Time Totem."

"I thought you said you lost it."

"Oh right, I did..."

"When did you lose it?"

"Uh, like 2 months ago?"

"See? Perfect timing before the Totem of Forces and Probability appear today!" James exclaims.

"Shhhh..." Arya puts a finger to her mouth glancing at Kayla. Arya sighs. "Well... I wouldn't call that perfect timing... but I don't think that angel is dead."

"But Corvus controls all the Totems of Power. So why would they start appearing for this group of people to go ahead and obtain?"

"Hold up, what group of people."

"Uh...there's this group of people who claimed that they needed to get the Totem of Forces... they got it today but then the Totem of Probability knocked us all off the Empire State Building."

"Empire State Building?"

"Yeah, the totem was floating above the Empire State Building."

"Oh... okay well I kind of see your point... but..."

...

James simply waits.

...

"...Corvus is the reason why none of us are dead."

"Huh?" James asks confused.

"Remember the battle at the Sky Islands... how I 'almost died'?... Well I actually died... but the angel resurrected me... saying I had a second chance," Arya's face falls. "I don't get why she did that but I'm thankful. She may have been gone for the last 4,000 years and the totems may be resurfacing... but I doubt she is dead."

"Well, that was like four months ago... You lost your totem 2 months ago. I think this lines up," James says.

Arya sighs. "Whatever floats your boat Mr. Fall." Arya looks at Kayla seeming to want to change the subject. "Also, what happened to Ms. Lunie."

James doesn't seem to notice the shift in subject and forgets to ask what to do about the whole totem problem. "Please stop with the ridiculous nicknames," James mutters. "One of the members in the group uh, didn't really play well with others... Kayla teleported herself and that group member away somewhere and came back all cold and wet. Must've teleported into the middle of a thunderstorm for all I know."

"Wait, Kayla teleported?"

"Yeah... it's kind of strange?... but I detected her summon in a teleportation shard... well it felt different but none the less, it worked... I don't think it was her own magic though."

"That's... interesting..." Arya comments. A little bracelet on Arya's arm begins to shimmer.

"Well, I gotta go. You should get in bed with her Mr. Fall. Kayla loves hugging pillows in her sleep."

"Omylord, actually will you shut up?" James groans.

"Cya Mr. Fall in Love," Arya smirks.

"SHUT. UP."

"Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee."

Arya snaps her fingers and a hieroglyph appears in front of her before she vanishes.

The scene fades away.
