Staircase Daggers?

So ive noticed That some dagger class weapons appear as staircases ive done a clean install of minecraft, and it still happens, i have had it with my mini map and without, my friend has also had this issue and ive seen two other posts with the issue but it was never resolved

im not using any resourcepacks or anything from what i can tell it might be an optifine bug or a bug with the resourcepack, im using the pack that comes defult with the server, im gona tinker around and see if i can fix it from my end, becuse i dont know if its an issue for everyone

It's a moderately common problem that continually gets fixed, and then promptly breaks again from what I've heard. I don't know for sure if there's a way to fix it.

 

Thanks for the info, i didnt know that im just comeing back from a long break i hope that this helps in any way, i went to the market and looked at all the daggers and sent pics of all the stairs that i saw
