Mainly, yes, but the lightning you see is caused by sudden creation and destruction of plasma. The absurdly concentrated electron flow causes plasma to occur. Here's an article.

Ok, this is fair, I absolutely hate how science is taught in schools. Nobody likes my science teacher because she’s boring and she just makes us write notes and answer questions. We don’t do labs or anything, and when we do, it’s about boring stuff like the period of a swinging pendulum

 

Hehe, mine is like: "O waow, this is a cow lung. It's like a balloon. You should stick a straw in it and blow~ :D"

We were also made to finger a cow heart as well as disect an eye right before lunch,
ugh. I'm eating right nowtoo... bleh

 

My seventh grade science teacher was realy laid back and didn’t really give a shit if we were naughty or not.

For the last few months of the year, I sat with the same people because he almost never changed the assigned seats; I sat with two girls, one of which went to a different school this year, the other’s in band with me and I don’t have any other classes with her this year, but we still talk sometimes.


...Damn, this is giving me insane nostalgia. Last year was so good for me, this year is terrible.

That was exactly the same for me. xD
I finally settled into a good lifestyle, made some good habits, planned ahead for the future, etc.
Then I moved to a new school with new classes and new people. Scchool time was vastly different from last years and so to cope with it, I just kinda gave up (which is a horrible decision, don't do that).

 

I’m sorry, that must be hard.

This year is shit for me for a couple of reasons:

1. I hate all of my classes, either because of the teacher or the work we do in them.
2. I have to constantly think about high school and probably never seeing most of my friends again in the flesh.
3. The type of kids that go to my school. Maybe I just hate children in general, but I hate most kids that go to my school. The boys act like perverts and morons, and the girls act like sluts and bimbos (bimboes?)

I have lots of friends who are girls. I have 0 interest in dating right now because really, it’s pointless at my age

I'm in an advanced program in school, where they send a group of students to a separate school for college studies. As such, all my current irl friends are:

1. Seniors
2. From other schools

Which means that after this year, I'll never see any of them ever again. xD

I can't relate tbh. I just don't like people in general. :L
