Rose takes out her Rejuvenation Orb... only to realize she's DOWNED and can't use it on herself...

Which is a big oof.

Mr. Cloak Guy doesn't seem to care though which is good... what's bad is that some of the ceilling of the 1st floor has finally caught on fire.

And Cloak dude does care about the fire.

"Well shit. You know what kids? I'll be Merciful. If I ever see you again around our other base... I will kill you."

Mr. Cloak Guy then summons a rune and disappears with all his unconscious employees.

The rune affect on everyone dissipates and you're all now free to move again.

A part of the ceilling falls in front of your group... a good indication it's time to leave.

Plus, the police will be here any second now...

The scene changes from a top Amzaon Books to Ariane's dorm room... which I can assume is really messy.

Neither of the bunks (I assume there's two... right?) are cleaned and shit but whatever...

I put back the REJUVENATION ORB into my INVENTORY. Then, I glance towards Fov and Justin.

"M-Me and Daniel, we are b-both too hurt to move. We need to get out of here f-fast... ASAP! Once the police comes, they will surely imprison us or something for days, since we are the only ones and the most suspicious, and we will be there as long until they bother to BEGIN interrogating us! And with our ongoing 1 week time limit to stop ... w-well, I am not interested, and we don't have time!"

Time to think fast (and be a little meta)...

"Justin, can you... if you can... use your time powers, perhaps it is possible to time-pause some of the falling debris falling from the ceiling, by shooting your time magic with a slingshot, while Fov helps evacuate and carry us out? We need to do it now!"

honestly though, im just really tired... i bet we all are.

anyway, Saskia gets on the bus losing $3. her balance drops to $3 less than what she has right now... which i dont know since i was stupid enough not to update the op.

ok ariane starts uh, fixing her bunk, not her roommate's bunk (unless she's corteous enough to do so), cleans the trash on the floor, sorts the papers and shit, etc.

in about 20 - 30 minutes, the room is back into a functional organized state.

welp.

what now?

justin starts going "marksman" style and shoots the falling debris with stasis and freezing them in place.

fov begins to carry chris and rose at the same time cuz uh, he's buff and shit, idk, and gets to about 20 feet from the door before tripping over some chair / table leg sticking out dropping both chris and rose.

i would make this cause damage but like... i mean... chris and rose are already downed and fov isn't gonna die from tripping so...

anyway, justin's beginning to lose energy performing stasis on 10 pieces of ceilling now and it's looking pretty grim.

...

suddenly, a large chunk of the flaming ceilling falls over the heads of fov, rose, and chris. justin shoots it and casts stasis on it but it's so large that it continues to fall at about half speed.

fov uses the time to move chris and rose and himself out of the way before....

*insert destruction noise here*

the whole ceilling then seems to give up and decides to collapse...

Also, let's just throw away what I don't need and only keep a box of 10 Nuggets with one of the wrapped burgers. Eat the rest and throw the remains (including the bag) away.

Even with my broken bones and not being able to move I'll try to concentrate as hard as i can to try and use one with the the element

 

Things truly look really really grim!

Good idea, I too despite being down and severely injured (also just fell down onto the floor), in a moment of pure desperation, also try to do stuff! Even if it is a bit illegal!

In the moment of falling down, and when things truly became very blurry, I attempt to catch my falling staff in midair, then hold it up against the ceiling. I attempt to cast Gamma Ray Burst at the collapsing ceiling. And if I may, rotate down as I fall, so that the staff falls forward, and that the Ray would also point forward, clearing the forward escape path from the rocks and rubble!

Also, scream as loudly and passionately as I do this. Truly, Rose Staccato is trying not to be useless and keep screwing up, for this once (Hell yes, add some fuckin' flashbacks and character monologue into this one too, though um, that may be a bit too cringe).
"YYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!"

 

I find a place to put the med-kit and head out to whatever the common room is.

Evidently, there are lots of people running away from the scene.

Lots of yelling, sirens in the distance, some officers directing traffic, etc.

It's all a huge mess.

But then...

Suddenly, Fabio can depict a couple people in the burning in the falling building but before he even does anything, there's a huge blinding light that comes out of the building and a large explosion that takes place afterwards. (Fov and Justin pretty much get blinded) This only causes to crumble the building faster as another flash of light blasts down the front wall of the building.

There's another flash of lightning as a person appears suddenly in front of the store... it's Chris Daniel.

***CRASH***

The building collapses and a sudden horrible shock comes to Fabio...

In the Perspective of Rose, Fov, and Justin.

Chris... being a lucky bastard zaps the hell out of there.

As Justin and Fov attempt to get out... Rose does an extreme last ditch effort to try and escape.

She's able to grip onto her staff and mnusters whatever energy she has left into an almight Gamma Ray Burst aimed for the sky.

The ceilling pretty much disintigrates by the immense power but in turn, the rest of the building also begins to collapse as Rose blasts a hole through the front wall trying to provide some sort of escape.

But...

***CRASH***

None of you expected death to hurt as bad as it does. The crushing weight of the debris is immeasurable and it makes you want to scream at the top of your lungs... until you realize that it's hopeless.

a little ceramic cup full of m&ms appears floating next to them and they plops two in their mouth... a blue and green one.

"well... you all can stay here in the empty void for as long as you want... fine by me... but... seeing that this is your second mess up and that you guys are only on totem 2... i may be able to help with some advice..."
