If you're not going for a water weapon, use two powders. I haven't had a chance to test, but that should get enough conversion when combined with the natural powder slots.

Because once req gets added to powders it'll be unusable with water powders, since the req will probably be in the 40-45 range.

 

Since borange doesnt give dura anymore, its much better using it only in recipes that contain mostly dmg stuff instead ones that have stats like mana or tier (yoi get the idea).

Here is the max dmg, high mr recipe I've known so far:

Pride - Glacial
Glacial - Pure Quartz
Pure Quartz - DurabilityBonusItem

3/4-7/4 mr
395-440 raw spell dmg
12-18% spell dmg
Stats of the durability ingredient of your choice (assuming its a variant of luxroot)

304 durability cost, 116 int req

Seems like best to use Luxroot as a durability bonus item(or Elephelk trunk if you are fine with131 int req).
