Where Do I Find Platinum Ingots?

Where do I find Platinum Ingots?
I'm looking in Thanos, and I found that the Armour and Weapons now cost emeralds and platinum ingots instead of emeralds and gold ingots. If you know where I can find platinum, please reply back.

The bandits in CotL now drop platinum ingots instead of gold ingots. You can find a lot of them near the start of the quest "A Marauder's Dues" (there's also a grind spot near there, but ofc stuff won't drop from them often).

 

The quest "the thanos vaults" also gives a stack I believe

 

Do they still drop gold?

 

Not sure if they still do or not, but when I was grinding them for platinum to level up weaponsmithing the gold was glitched out and dropped as wands just named "gold bars" so they were useless. I'd assume the platinum ingots were added to fix this (along with making mobs in a level 80 area not drop level 30 ingredients).

 

So I can't sell my stacks of gold for emeralds at rymek?

 

Only the gold bars for the level 80 bandits were broken as far as I'm aware. I still get gold bars from things like the dead prospectors near Rymek so I'd assume you'd still be able to sell them.
