HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO KILL SHADOW AMADEL?! LIKE FOR REAL. SHITTIEST FUCKING BOSS EVVVEEERR. SUPER FUN FIGHTING 100 CLONES OF HIM AND GETTING TOSSED AROUND LIKE A FUCKING PINBALL. OOOOH THE LAAAGG. NOT EVEN GONNA MENTION THE LAG.
AM I SUPPOSED TO KILL THOSE TURRETS AROUND? OH I DONT KNOW THEY JUST KEEP RESPAWNING OVER AND OVER AGAIN. CANT EVEN SEE WHO IS THE REAL AMADEL CUZ YOU ARE JUST BEING TOSSED AROUND AND CANT READ ANYTHING (HEALBAR).

10/10 would recommend this boss.

#1 what is your build? maybe it isn't strong enough

Shadow Amadel is long (as are all forms of Amadel really) but not really that difficult once you realize that the real Amadel is whichever one you aren't oneshotting (or twoshotting - you should at least be able to manage this with any spell or hybrid build against the clones). After that, it's a matter of either doing as much damage as you can when he gets close, or being able to track him and continually hit him while he's against the wall of the arena.

 

And also, anyone wanna help me fight him?

I think I am strong enough. Mage lvl 74, 6000hp with good healing and Ethereal wand (high spell damage). I can fight him forever basically, due to my healing and all that, but I just can't beat him.

Make sure you have at least 68 Int, and I recommend Sodeta Boots and Mask of Enlightenment for mana regen (and Tear of Pirate Cove if you have it from the quest). With that, he shouldn't be too much of a problem if you target him the way I said in my previous post. 6k health is a solid amount, but you may be losing out on damage - I have a level 70 class right now with 4k health, but I've got net boost of ~100% so I'm doing 4k bomb arrows with 105 Int and good mana regen so I have a ton of dps for the level. What are the specific items you're using? (use the Wynndata link I posted)

Ngl this is legit the most accurate description I have ever seen of fighting shadow amadel for the first time.
Anyways, I just sit in the area where you spawn, because (typically) the real one will run towards you into that area, meaning you don't have to go out of it and get pull spell spammed in every direction. Only problem is it's an enclosed space and he has heavy charge. He runs away from you when you hit him anyways, meaning he'll eventually get stuck somewhere if you're constantly hitting him like others have said.

 

His probably using adamtite.

All the clones die in 1 hit, so use aoe. Also once u hit the real one its health bar will stay, making it easy to identify

Alright so I just finished WynnExcavation Part D. Amadel isn't really that hard, except that Fully Formed Amadel does quite a bit of damage. Shadow Amadel - just chase down the one with the wooden sword, and alternate Ice Snake/Meteor. He has ~50k health, so it shouldn't take too long if you keep sight of him.The clones shouldn't be a problem since they die quickly. Pull spell will be annoying for sure, but Mage has pretty good range and teleport lets you move around really easily so it shouldn't be too bad once you get the hang of it (disclaimer: I've never played Mage past level 30s). Fully Formed Amadel is tougher - kill his minions ASAP so you can keep your concentration on Amadel himself, who hits pretty hard and has annoying spells. 50k/50k/40k health for each of the three phases I think, or something in that range. Takes mroe time for sure (there's a reason Melody of Reckoning is a slow song, Amadel is meant to be a time-consuming boss for anyone without really high-damage gear) but he's not super powerful or anything if you know how to handle him.

Disclaimer: I used Maelstrom spell-spam so I beat all 3 stages in a total time of about 2-3 minutes. Obviously it can take a lot longer if you're using a less damage-intensive build (under 4k health makes for quite a bit of glassiness, especially with Archer's low natural defense). My first time fighting him (previous playthrough) took around 15 minutes between all 3 stages, with a rainbow build and level 55 weapon.

 

How to beat Shadow Amadel 101.

Number 1: Use powders.
If you have gathered nothing from CoW by now which i'm very disappointing in you for one and secondly stop using skill point potions you casual as they waste away your money very quickly; back to powders in this case the best powder we can get is earth powders and I highly recommend you use T4 as it will give you the quake powder ability. Speaking of elemental items...

Number 2: Get an earth weapon
Ok so I understand that earth weapons aren't entirely common for mage but they do exist such include Stasis, Kai Hei (probably the best option because of fast attack speed) and Backfire(Use to get rid of lots of enemies because of +exploding, you could also use earthquake as an alternative to that or even maybe the earth relic wand but that might be a bit outdated) Of which I now need to talk about probably the best ID to go into battle with.

Bonus Advantage: The Exploding Identification
, this identification will crush Shadow Amadel. This is because with exploding when you kill an enemy they have a chance to explode and Amadel has a lot of clones with him and by killing one of them, with a high exploding identification you can eradicate most of them in an instant and get back to fighting the main boss, not necessary but certainly helpful.

Number 3: Elemental Defenses and Health
When taking down Shadow Amadel you need two things, water defence and thunder defence. They are vital to beating Shadow Amadel because Thunder defence helps to tank Amadel and his clones while the water defence is so you can resist damage from Light Weavers. Finally health, if you don't have a lot of health your not getting anywhere with this fight as you will be receiving damage from all ends (Just don't use adamantite that chestplate is a sin in this battle)

Here's probably the best armour to take this guy on.
Helmet: Corrupted Nii Shako, Meikyo Shisui, Clear Sight Spectacles (Yes I understand some equipment may be over leveled but a lot of people are a bit when they come to fighting this boss so I don't really mind.
Chestplate: Magic Cloak, Admiral, Millenium, Legend's Guard Plate, Thundersnow (You have to find a way to cancel out that -ls but very good overall) and Moulded Helmet
Leggings: Crystal (It is a necessity you cancel out that negative thunder defense but very good leggings), Reflection, Kelight's Shield, Mighty Pants, Evening Primrose. (With K.S and E.P you have got to get rid of the negative water defense but again very good leggings), Nitre (If it has very good exploding)
Boots: Shadestep (These are great but your not getting them if you can't beat Amadel lol), Ekeloch, Stalagmites (Stay the hell away from light weaves if you plan to use these, they will shatter Shadow Amadel himself though), Abysso Galoshes (Holy Mackerel I forgot how good these were), Abyssal Walkers (Same with Stalagmites), Letum, Wavelength (Presuming you want to take on FFA as well these will be great as well).

If you want my opinion on what I would use, I would probably go with this.

-Edit: I just realise Kai Hei is level 75 so I guess stave of legends with t4's would be the next best one. Also in terms of skill points this build is very lenient.
It's got a good amount of damage for its level, it does earth damage, it has elemental resistance in five elements, its got mana steal and regen, and 2/3 of the items you can get through item merchants or quests and has exploding, this can obviously be improved upon but i'm relatively lazy and I spent like 10 minutes on this at max but it could still probably yeet Amadel's existance out the window without skill potions, the only thing I would change when fighting FFA is to use a higher damage slow weapon so I can pierce through his elemental defences, though I don't actually know how much defence it has but it can't be too much concerning how there's only a few weapons that only deal neutral damage instead of elemental.

Also if you can craft items you probably just wasted most of your time reading this because with crafted items its like a million times easier because you control what you actually need and items don't do it for you, albeit probably no one has the shear momentum to make crafted items for their own purpose at level 70 so idk.

Wait a minute.

Yeah.. Just because Melody of Reckoning is slow doesn't mean it can't have a half decent background percussion going with it, or more instruments to make it more interesting. Furthermore I find Amadel to actually be quite boring to be honest because to me he just seems like a big piece of hp and if you actually prepare for it like most people at this stage have, they will probably kill it in a couple minutes if they're archer or assassin so it only barely works if they're mage or warrior, of which in my case when I was mage when I fought this boss I just teleported round in circles until the thing died so the fight just became more boring because of the theme, so unless your playing the tanky boi that is warrior and his typically awful movement speed and tank him down the "real" way, this theme will never feel in place with the boss its used for right now in my opinion and its why it will remain my least favourite boss theme for now...

As for World Ender though,

iirc ( i havent actually played the game for a while) as every class except warrior - even assassin - you could use spells to get onto a particular spot on the side of the arena, where he could not hit you, but you could spell him (assassin: vanish spam to get up, smoke bomb for damage; mage: teleport to get up, meteor for damage; archer: escape to get up, bomb arrow for damage)

 

This is true, since the design of the arena is pretty old and all, but it's kind of cheesing the fight. It's not a particularly hard fight anyway, so I usually recommend that people do it the regular way as preparation for endgame.
