To His Majesty,

The Dogun War is failing. There is a power in the Heights that is roaring within its walls, slaughtering anything it sees.. except for the Doguns.

I believe that this godless beast is "Garaheth", a Demonic Deity that is present within Dogunic Mythology. The men at least seem to think so.

We need to act now. If we're pushed out of these caverns, we will be stuck in between a hostile army of those demons, dragons, it, and those villagers.

The people of Thanos are already angry with us for starting this war. We don't have the magic, numbers, or resources to fight Garaheth either.

I ask that you return this letter as soon as possible.

To Commander Coulmis,

Dammit, Coulmis! I told you not to allow them to reach the eastern part of the Heights!

Hmm.. there still may be a solution. Before we go up against Garaheth, we need to sabotage the Demons greatly, with a power they cannot combat.

Arent the demons mostly fire and lava based creatures? There's a drake in the caverns that uses Ice Magic to fight off some of the creatures here.

Order the army to chain up the drake if they can, near that Demon Town. Blast them all to hell, then move it across the caverns to the other Demon city, near Rodoroc. Destroy that one as well, then kill the Drake.

I expect to hear back from you soon,

To King Draani,

The Demons slaughtered the Drake. The energies within it burst out and froze away a good portion of the cavern, and the town with it.

A good quarter of our forces were caught in the blast, and are now nothing but dust. To add, Garaheth has grown much more aggressive, and has left the cave system it inhabits.

I've seen it begin to kill a few of the Demons as well. I fear if we don't kill it, this war will be for naught, it will kill both Demon and Dwarf, and possibly slaughter the rest of the province.

We have a single solution left; we have a few Demons in captivity. There was a villager in the Light Forest that could create weapons that could sap the magic from an enemy.

Please send a sentry to purchase one of these weapons. We already have a powerful bow that was taken from a Demon Commander, if we take the magical energies from the Demons we already have here, and then imbue it into this bow, I'm certain it could destroy the beast!

Please send a letter as soon as possible!

No. Mythics are meant to be so uncommon that they are simply stories (except for Warp), merely whispers of ancient tales. Cataclysm, for example, is not even known at all, only thought of as a weapon that could could break apart the fabric of existence with sheer force. Most who even tell this tale don't even believe a weapon like that is possible to exist.

Adding a legit reference to the mythics aside from their lore in game would just be bad.

 

Royal trials all but states the mythic treasure is cataclysm though

 

Cataclysm is a weapon that tears holes through reality, it doesn't cut realms from existence anymore.
