ANYWAYS the common theme among a lot of words beginning with 'ped' are children are somehow involved (same way if you see 'ign' in a word it's likely fire related; think ignite, igneous, ignition, ignis, etc.)

so the definition of pederasty would literally be a man >18 having sexual/romantic relationship with a boy <18.
