    Hey everyone,

After a bit of fucking around, I've decided to make a new currency!

It's called Wynncash, and is represented in the form of scrolls. They are all simply named "Wynncash" and are minted and signed by me to prevent counterfeit money.

Report it to me in DMs either on forums or Discord (Quint#2597)

    What does it look like?

Wynncash is a simple scroll crafted & signed by me (Quintessee).

    Here's an example:

    Screen Shot 2019-03-01 at 9.51.32 PM.png

    But what does the "1 . 2 . 3 . 4 . 5" mean?

That's how much it's worth! The first number is the ones column, the second is the tens column, etc.
For example, this one is worth 54,321 WC (Wynncash). This is infinitely expandable.

How do I get started with Wynncash?

You can start by starting a private conversation with me on the forums or on discord, or by replying to this thread and/or tagging me using this format:

    IGN:
    Timezone:

And I'll add you to the bank's accounts.
This is valid for any transaction AS LONG AS ALL PARTIES INVOLVED AGREE THAT THIS IS A VALID AND ACCEPTABLE CURRENCY.

Please log as many Transactions as you can in this document. **NOT REQUIRED**

For Transaction logging, use this format:

(YOUR IGN - YOUR FORUMS NAME) > (OTHER PLAYER'S IGN - OTHER PLAYER'S FORUMS NAME)
YOUR IGN: (Stuff you gave to other player)
THEIR IGN: (Stuff they gave you)

Just add a line of text on the top or bottom of your thread saying "Accepts Wynncash".
    Thank you for your time!

To prohibit accidental use, can you give them reqs that can't be filled or are just high in general? (Eg 150 def)

Good question. I'm not high enough level scribing for that so as of current; no. But if you have irrefutable proof that it happened I may reimburse you.

I was actually thinking about this a few days ago, that's why I thought of how to not accidentally use them lol. Anyways cool, but will this cause inflation, because it's technically you dishing out more money than you have into the economy?

Idk how it's more money than I have; there is no set conversion rate between emeralds and Wynncash. Since as of current, I am the only person with valid Wynncash, I can choose the conversion rate. If I want it to be 1 emerald = 1 Wynncash, it can be that way. If I want it to be 50 Stacks LE = 1 Wynncash, it can be that way. Now, of course, the more I distribute it the less in control I am, but for a while before (if) it expands a sizeable amount I'm still mostly in control. Even after that, I can still be in control because I can simply mint more and be in control of >50% Wynncash in circulation. The combined total market value of all Wynncash in circulation is not static, so the fraction of the whole matters more than the definite amount. If only 5 Wynncash is in circulation, and the total value, is, say 10 emeralds; each Wynncash is 2 emeralds. If the total value is 100, suddenly each one is 20 emeralds. Because of this, I and the wealthiest people (in Wynncash) can either deflate or inflate it. (Ofc I won't inflate it an unreasonable amount, gotta make sure it's still valuable won't crash my own currency). So since the total value of Wynncash is not static, consumer-caused inflation also won't be a big problem because I control how much comes in. With emeralds, inflation is inevitable because the amount of emeralds isn't finite. The more mobs you kill, the more emeralds. This means you can't just go out and farm Wynncash, thus making inflation not part of the equation unless I specifically make it so.

How will you go about distributing it though? If you sell them on the market, it makes their prices static, no? But if you give them away, it will be not worth depending on how much you give. The best way I can think of distributing it would be as an achievement or smth, as those don't have value but aren't extremely hard to do

Basically just even distribution. You start with a static amount, say 50 Wynncash. If you want more, trade other players items/materials/ingredients/even favors for Wynncash.

So this is like bank accounts?
If so, can you exchange WC for E?
Can I deposit E to get WC?

First question: I don't know. I hesitate to do so because I don't really want an exact conversion rate, but this might work out. If I have more money in emeralds, I'd definitely back it up more.

    Second question: yes

Is this like a bank note, as in could I exchange a large amount of money (say, a bank page full of stacks of LE) for a note? Because that would be very useful for rich players, but also very risky. If you lose the exchanged emeralds or stop playing, many people could go bankrupt.

not a bank note for emeralds. i want to keep emerald-wynncash transactions to a minimum because i want to avoid having a set or static conversion wynncash>emeralds or vice versa.

Should be interesting to observe. Emeralds definitely lack some properties of an ideal medium of exchange, to whatever extent those are applicable seeing as it would be rather challenging to have a closed-circulation economy in a video game.
