Appreciation Post To Wynncraft Team

Hey so I just logged on after probably a couple of years if not more. It amazes me the progress that has been made. The reason I returned was for curiosity because I just got a new pc for my 18th bday. I used to be an active player back in middle school, and it was barebones compared to this. The scripted cutscene in the tutorial blew me away for what is possible in a Minecraft server. The 3d textures stylize the game and separated it from Minecraft. Also, apparently their is elements and crafting skills now? It just amazes me. I remember when there was three portals that led to the three worlds. I just felt a wall of nostalgia and awe when seeing what was old and new. Thank you, Wynncraft team, for making an amazing and free mmorpg server.

 

Glad to see that you're still enjoying the game! I hope you continue playing, there's now hours and hours of content and so much cool stuff to see, that tutorial quest is only the beginning!

I'm pretty sure the bosses' natural regen is faster than the max dps of spider build.

 

Not if you use WEB SPITTER INSTEAD OF FANGS AND/OR SKILL POTS+CRAFTED CONSUMABLES BAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH
but that is not true spider build and therefore yy must do it without them... ....... ..

It is true that the game has changed a lot in just a few years. But it has changed for the best (except for the beloved swarms).

 

Depends which version of swarms your talking about. I much preferred the original version of swarms. “Everyone go to detlas bank”

 

What were the other versions?

 

Originally (pre-Mob Update I think, or whichever update was in the fall of 2014) swarms were just lots of mobs spawning at predetermined areas inside of the city.

 

the only version I remember is hearing "Swarm at Detlas in 5 minutes" or any other city. And when it starts there would just spawn lots of mobs and some would say "go to the bank for double xp" and "stop spamming spells, it lags the server". Is that not the only version?

 

I left before the swarm system changed, so I don't know how it was before it got removed.
