Jeweling Best Possible Walkspeed Necklace?

Frozen Ghostly Essence 2x, Wind Ornament 2x, Obelisk Core 2x.

Place it in this order:

If my math is correct, you should end up with:

28%-34% walkspeed
-2/4 mana regen
-296 durability
-110 Intelligence requirement (This is basically the same as 0)
48 Agility requirement
(Let me know if I made a mistake)

I’m curious if anyone can come up with a recipe for a better (and usable) walkspeed accessory, if you can, feel free to share it. I'll test more combinations today to see if I can make a hypothetical recipe with higher walkspeed.

Also, can someone confirm how exactly Obelisk Core works? Does it only flip the sign, or does it flip the sign and then multiply by 2?

 

If you invert an item I'm pretty sure the reqs get inverted as well (or at least, Salted liked a post I made about a recipe relying on that).

I'm 90% certain. Haven't tested so I don't know for sure. Someone with high enough level to use a Golden Avia Feather can probably test this at a relatively low cost.

 

If that’s true, then wtf that’s op. Obelisk Core is a lot more useful now than I thought it was.

I don’t think using 3 essences and 3 cores is the way to go though since -3/4 mana is ew and two wind ornaments add up to more than 1 inversed essence. I’m still waiting if anyone can manage to come up with a recipe with better walkspeed

Also, I could test this now because I’m a level 82 jeweler, but I don’t want to waste obelisk cores in case this recipe is actually useful for something

We want to know whether a flipped Frozen Ghostly Essence will have a requirement of -55 intelligence or if the req. will be unaffected

 

Or just throw 5 harpy wings and a borange fluff together, gets you 29-58ws (I think, not sure how wynncraft handles decimal values), 100 agi req, and -310 durability

 

Harpy Wind, along with almost every walkspeed ingredient for jeweling, got nerfed. It now has 4% to 6% walkspeed

Golden Avia Feather and any item with a requirement. We want to see whether the requirement goes down in the areas where Golden Avia Feather gives minus effectiveness.

 

I just tested this with BT - Bob's Tear and EDM - Enhanced Dynamics Microchip.

35 x 3 = 105 dex (from unaffected EDMs)
35 x 0.35 = 12 (bob's tear boost)
35 + 12 = 47 (adding the boost)
47 x 2 = 94 (multiplying the boosts from BT)
105 + 94 = 199 dex requirement
So yes, effectiveness affects requirements

 

So positive effectiveness increases reqs....

That kinda sucks, but at least it makes my recipe a lot more viable

 

I’m confused, a friend told me that obelisk core flips the sign and then multiplies by 2, so for example, a flipped frozen ghostly essence will have 16% to 20% walkspeed and -2/4 mana regen. Is this true? Also, some math in the original post is incorrect, so let me fix that.

 

Your friend is wrong. Effectiveness adds/subtracts from the initial 100%, which is why Obelisk Core's -200% yields -100% multiplier on ingredients affected.

 

I've pretty much given up on this recipe because FGE's negative walkspeed got reduced, so now it's probably better to just use wind ornaments and iridescent elytras
