Media Becoming O N E With Ff (ff Build Solo Li Challenge)

BEFORE YOU CALL ME A @YYGAYMER CLONE I HAD HIS PERMISSION TO TOUCH HIS BABY WITH MY BABY.

Ok, I'll admit that actually sounds really wrong when you say it out loud, but regardless I was basically held at gun point by some chickens with machine guns to come back to the forums on one condition. What is that one condition? Soloing LI with the FF build of course! In order to become O N E with FF, you must BECOME FF.

"What is the FF build?" you may be asking yourself or clicking away from this thread because you inevitably already know what it is and should be doing something productive with your life like getting level 100 woodcutting to spread global warming across all of Wynncraft or perhaps even getting a job/working on your homework due tomorrow (don't worry guys I actually finished it this time while the videos were processing) or you're just way too tired to read through what a guy with a Ben Shapiro pfp has to say for himself. Well, it's exactly what you would think it is.

I'm pretty sure the heat sink had fire powders on it since I used it on my old warrior build but eh who cares. Also, yes, I'm aware Blue Mask is not from FF, but it's impossible to use the build without it. Fittingly enough though, there is no helmet from FF to begin with! I tried doing it with no hp pots, but Idol gave me a big fat L on that idea.

This is mostly uncut outside of two glitches where I had to fight the bosses again (Baby Idol getting stuck in a wall and Death Metal shooting himself), along with moments where I had to go afk for very long periods of time (5 minutes or higher). I'm assuming most of you will not watch all of this of course, but this is mainly just for those who would like proof. Whether or not you accept that as proof is up to you. The run (if you include the refights and afks) took ~1 hour and 20 minutes.


For those who don't want to watch a legit hour long video, I have tried my best to shorten the video to an extent, so here you are!

Spoiler: Fail Log

Fail #1: Got pulled by idol into him on 4th phase and died

Fail #2: Virus doc tp damaged me and he went behind me and hit me with a melee and agility didn't proc

Fail #3: (Partially due to lag) 5th phase idol hit me with charge and went through arrow shield

Fail #4 (Partially due to bug): Witch Doctor got killing blow on Death and was forced to fight Death again, then got multi-hit while trying to fight him again

Fail #5 (Partially due to lag): 3rd phase Cybel and got a lag spike and got ohko by a meteor (or maybe melee) from cybel

Fail #6: Got meteored immediately after killing first phase idol, resulting in ohko (took a break from it to wait for the update after this one).

Fail #7: Died at phase 5 Cybel because I slammed on the ground while he was in charge, causing him to stop moving and explode on me (since agility didn't proc I died)

The rest of them are pretty iffy because I stopped keeping track, but, no surprise here, the majority of the rest were Cybel being Cybel.

The following is a huge wall of text so either skip it or mentally prepare yourself.

Spoiler: The Bosses

For those who want to just read random walls of text, here's my opinion on the bosses vs. FF build. The rating difficult of the bosses is as followed:

Very Easy->Easy->Medium->Hard->Intense->Insane

Spoiler: Mummyboard

Rating: Very Easy

By far the easiest boss even against the FF build. Reason? Mostly because I'm an archer, and since Mummyboard doesn't detect you in a pretty large radius, it is very easy to sit on the other side of the arena and spam him. Only threat was his minions and rarely when he would tp over to me and detect me. Otherwise, he was just long.

Spoiler: Virus Doctor

Rating: Medium

The funny thing I found with Virus Doctor was that all the other bosses seemed to be getting easier the more I had to redo them, whereas Virus Doctor remained the exact same difficulty level. The problem with Virus Doctor is that the longer he is alive, the more minions that spawn. The more minions that spawn, the more chaotic it becomes. Due to my low damage output, it made it increasingly difficult as I couldn't prevent myself from being swarmed by around the time I got to the second phase.

Spoiler: Corkus Accipientis

Rating: Medium

The only hard part about Accipientis was the Elf phase, as it can detect you in a fairly large radius and can tp spam with heal. Otherwise, only real threat was from the minions, as they're both decently strong and tanky.

Spoiler: Matrojan Idol

Rating: Intense

This was the first boss that was like a roadblock for me, despite Virus Doctor being more difficult than I expected. The main culprits of this were the 4th, 5th, and 10th (baby) phases. Both the 4th and 5th phases use push/pull along with charge (the 5th phase having heavy charge), which presented a huge problem for me due to the lack of mana sustain to constantly have arrow shield up when needed. However, once I got used to Idol, it became not as difficult outside of the baby. With such a low damage output, the baby is one hell of an annoying little bastard, pretty much being able to full heal all my bomb damage if he used heal spell. Not too mention he also has charge, teleport, push, pull, and is already fast to begin with as well. He's also extremely easy to get stuck in a wall with arrow shield/storm, so unless he's in a corner, my only real two spells I could use would be bomb and escape. Most of the time, I had to wait until he did actually get into that corner, and then arrow storm him to death as fast as possible.

Spoiler: Yahyabot

Rating: Easy
Yahyabot was only a problem on the final phase, where he did get close to killing me a couple of times.

Spoiler: Death Metal

Rating: Intesne

The next major roadblock for me. My main mistake was not focusing on taking both Wired Beast (Chained Beast) and Antivirus (Guardian) out as soon as possible while chipping away at Death Metal's hp. Death Metal himself only really became an issue in his second phase, which has the dreaded burst fire. Alkevo, Snow Bear, and Arggadon were never a real issue, although Alkevo would basically be alive the whole time. Witch Doctor would be pretty annoying sometimes since it could slow me and definitely didn't get the killing blow on Death Metal once. Speaking of which, Death Metal also had the amazing ability to shoot himself with his own melees, so anytime he got to low hp I would try to spam him down and hope he didn't do so, but he did on many attempts.

Spoiler: Mecho CoW

Rating: Very Easy

In a normal build, Mecho CoW imo is the easiest boss in LI. Even with this build, he literally just runs at me and I can almost outrun him walking backwards (in his first phase at least). His minions were honestly more of an issue than he ever was, as they took roughly 3-4 bombs to kill unless I got lucky with crits.

Spoiler: Robob

Rating: Hard

Main issue was the first phase frequently using charge along with his swords. While the earth and fire swords are never a real issue, the water, thunder, and air swords can sometimes be a real pain to deal with. His first phase did OHKO me in one of my attempts, so I learned not to underestimate Robob himself very quickly.

Spoiler: Cybel

Rating: Insane

I hate to say it, but I can't deny the fact that Cybel was hands down the most challenging opponent to fight, and I'd be lying if I said he wasn't. You could honestly remove most of the RNG in Cybel and it would still probably be the most difficult opponent to fight with this build despite that. Of course, the RNG of push/pull spell did factor into the fight in many attempts, but even then he was still difficult.

For one, he has charge spell, which is an immediate problem for me due to my lack of being able to spam shield. Secondly, the cores had to be positioned in certain spots so they couldn't screw me over when attempting to get away from Cybel (even though they usually did regardless). Third, while the minions usually wouldn't be a problem in a normal archer build, it was basically asking for a death sentence when using this build. As stated, my damage output is already low, so when I spawn a bunch of these things and have to kill them and waste loads of mana doing so, I'm in trouble. They also have slowness, which is also a death sentence because I can no longer effectively run away from Cybel. Not too mention these things have heal spell as well, so if they're near Cybel, he gets healed. It made me very easily panic and spawn even more of them, which lead to my demise several, several times.

Oh, and did I mention I have a low damage output already? Yeah, I did, and with this build you can't effectively burst down Cybel even with arrow storm. Again, I hate to say it just because of how much RNG there still is even with all of this, but congrats Cybel. I finally am willing to call you difficult. Well played, you little orange fluff ball that will haunt my dreams for the rest of my life.

Spoiler: Doctor Legendary

Rating: Hard

This is the one boss I only fought ONCE with the build, as I was able to beat it first attempt after beating Cybel for the first time. That being said, he was similar to Mummyboard in a way, as I was able to effectively stay away from him for some of the fight until he used a movement spell over to me and went aggro. If you watched either video, you also may have noticed that the RNG gods blessed me with gamer luck and I survived a tnt exploding at dead on 1 hp. So yeah, those things were actually an issue for once. Normally, I would say Doctor Legendary is the hardest boss in LI, but I must give that title to Cybel with this build.

Overall, I would rate the bosses as followed (easiest to hardest) in this build:
Mummyboard, MechoCOW, Yahyabot, Corkus Accipientis, Virus Doctor, Robob, Doctor Legendary (could go up or down since I only have a single encounter impression), Idol, Death Metal, Cybel

Of course, I would like to give thanks to all those who wished me luck with the challenge!

P.S If I did the math correctly (including double byte and 3 packets), it costs 59 antikythera shards for the FF build I used for archer along with a 49 sp total Blue Mask ignoring +strength. You should 100% go get it yourself because it'll be worth your time /s.

Also, yes, I used archer because it was either that OR using compiler in a trash spell build that requires a 95 sp blue mask which is a huge no (I don't have a warrior/assassin anymore because I deleted them since I never used them).
