What if we make Hicbit use that hold them alright and tank the hit on the bottom?

 

We still all lad ontop of him, so we still take the damage, since we fell the same distance, minus a few feet.

Land on amazon books I guess. Turn the downward force into a horizontal force (with a tiny bit up upwards to slow our fall) to land on it.
Attempt to slow down the force as well, so we don't just go flying off the edge or die from the sudden stop.

I suck at physics so descriptions are weird.

The sudden shift in direction is disorienting but Saskia still manages to prevent everyone from crashing into the ground.

Instead, she gets everyone to have a not graceful landing on top of a nearby building.

Looking at the top of the Empire State Building, the Totem of Probability seems to be flickering... oh laughing at your group.

The needle is now encased in a golden aura and the Totem of Probability disappears.

The location of the Probability Totem is also at the top of the Empire State Building... according to the natural "Totem Detector" of the Fated Ones.

James, who currently is laying on the roof and now is looking mildly injured and severely tired says, "It might take me some time before I can teleport us off this building..." He stares up at the golden aura around the needle of the Empire State Building. "The magic aura feels different now... it feels more powerful but in a weird way..."

The Totem of Forces is now hovering near Saskia (who everyone can now see due to the Totem of Forces bringing attention to her).

Blood suddenly forms at Saskia's mouth and she coughs out some of it feeling severely injured.

That must be the price of the Totem of Forces.

"... Are any of you healers....?" James asks a little wearily.

So, you guys are technically now ahead of schedule. So you guys can either figure out how to get teh Totem of Probability and try to get it on Day 1, Roleplay your character's for the rest of the day normally, talk with the current introduced NPCs... or simply time skip to Day 2.

 

Wipe the blood off my face and use the wall(?) to help me stand.
Mirage myself to dull the pain. (which also fixes my rough breath and shaky voice I think)

Any drug stores nearby? Any place I can buy a general purpose medkit really will do.

 

I can see restaurants and hotels and a few shops (for like, clothes and shoes) but I don't think there's a drug store nearby, based on the map Quila gave us.

Right ankle feels weird, but isn't twisted.

Right shoulder hurts.

Lungs feel deflated as hell... but that's only cuz of the Totem of Forces.

The back is feeling some pain.

well you first have to get off the building you all are on.
