Why am I sleep-deprived even though I get my 5 hours a night?

 

Well for starters, the recommended amount of hours of sleep is 8 hours, not 5.
The reason you'll feel tired in the morning even if you get those 8 hours of sleep is because your body just spent a extended period of time in a motionless state and your brain has been pumping chemicals meant to induce a dreamy state. Your gonna feel weird when you start moving again, that's just a fact. Just keep moving around when you get up and your body will get the message.
