er, Kayla and Saskia are in Yosemite National Park which is in California.

Everyone else is at Washington Square Park in New York.

"I don't think I want the world to end... I still have things I want to do... and I hope you still have things you want to do..."

Kayla freezes and the air of the forest seems to get much colder.

"Sev-- a week?" Kayla says incredulously. "...Why - Do you truly not care about anything?"

A couple darker orange flames begin to orbit around Kayla.

 

Perfect.
Turn my smile into a smirk.
"It seems that only one of us has a time limit."

 

The flames turn darkish blue and suddenly, the sky turns dark.

"Are you mentally insane? ... You can't just throw away the world like that!" Kayla says infuriatedly.

Despite the searing hot blue flames, the wind is getting seriously cold which is weird because Kayla can't possibly be doing that.
