Any Class Cool New Items

Wynndata just updatet with all the new items (yay!), so I decided to make a thread about the most interesting ones. Some are already famous, some are kinda new. Feel free to tell me your opinions about these or suggest items that should be added to this list. I know, crafted items will probably become the new meta, since they are much more powerful (nerf inc.), but I don't care. So let's get started!

I will add some build for these items soon.

First one is Conduit of Spirit https://wynndata.tk/i/Conduit+of+Spirit
This chestplate is pretty well known already. It has everything you could want for an air build. Mana regen, mana steal, spell damage, air damage. On top of that we even get 2800 health. The only drawbacks are the negative fire and earth damage, which decreases some damages from neutral conversion in spells and the 110 agility requirement, but overall still a very cool item.

The next one on our list is Peaceful Rest https://wynndata.tk/i/Peaceful+Rest
You might have already seen this wand. It is quite an interesting one. It is super fast, but has -30 attack speed. Fire-Water also is a combo we don't see very often. We get some really good elemental defense % aswell. I think the biggest drawback is the walkspeed. But this wand can probably do some really nice damage. It could also make some cool hybrid builds, since it attacks super slow. I just can't want to mess around with this thing!

Now we have The Crossing https://wynndata.tk/i/The+Crossing
This one is simple, yet powerful. Very high raw spell, very good health, negative mana regen. Overall an interesting item for hybrid builds.

Rune of Safe Passage https://wynndata.tk/i/Rune+of+Safe+Passage
This ring has 1000 health! Without any skill point requirements!!! That's insane!
It has some negative defenses though, but the defense % already helps cancelling that out. And oh look, it gives some free walkspeed aswell! Nice!

Gaze from the Snowbank https://wynndata.tk/i/Gaze+from+the+Snowbank (wtfrick is this name?)
This helmet has 4 mana steal and 32% earth damage, which makes it a really good item for earth builds. However, it comes with quite some negative lifesteal. It probably works best with weapons with lifesteal, such as Grimtrap. But it comes 3200 health that's a lot.

Some air weapons often get thunder powdered. This ring could be quite useful for these builds. It looks like a good replacement for Diamond Static Ring too, or as a defense fix with some free mana steal.

I only put it here because it is the first bracelet with more than 1 mana regen. Idk it it is useful, since it has some negative spell damage and a 50 strength requirement, but we will see.

except -35% earth damage and -20% fire affect every class except assassin's main damage spells' natural conversions on any weapon with neutral damage. you could count the 110 agility with no sp buffs as a drawback too as it takes sp investment beyond most air items even with high reqs (sagittarius, unravel, leictreach or even dune storm)

and wtf are you sleeping on my boi event horizon it's probably the best item to come out this update

i think most of the interesting updates in terms of items came in changes to existing items. aphotic is now the spell helmet for 4 elements, ex nihilo is usable and fire, hydro rings regained their damage so thats cool, gotv is god, proxima got usable, silkweb was reworked and its new state confuses everyone, anamnesis is a cooler alternative to aphotic, seiryu is usable with rainmaker and there were countless of small changes especially on accessories thats gonna change build optimizations

 

What have you managed to do with Event Horizon? Even using very glassy damage boosters, I can barely manage 10k meteors, and that still leaves either Brainwash or next to no Int (unless you want to try Blue Mask idk).

The accessory changes are quite fun though.

85/85 reqs make it pretty annoying to use.

but still requires an absurd amount of investment, and you can't swap off the wand or you'll lose half your health.

It has good damage and health, but the high requirements are quite a drawback. And the negative defenses mean you can't habe defenses over 0 without other %defense items.

I agree, but I just wanted to cover new items. Putting all the item changes into this thread aswell would be way to much.

Just noticed... we're all taking advantage of the +5200 health by using Tesla, Sancs, etc. - what if we tried a tankier build?

 

Common and stable builds can reach 10k health so it can be like 15k+ health



sadly we already know that even 20k health without def/agi is not tanky


and that's how I failed at the Doctor Legendary
(Died many times before that boss, too)

and event horizon consumes all your skill points aaaaaaaaaa

Lots of powder slots. Enjoy finding the combination that 0's the negatives. 13k HP, high int, ~10k meteors, and 9+2 (MS+MR). Not bad, but skill points aren't fun.
