The girl takes a step back before closing her eyes and seeming to focus really hard.

She then uncloses her eyes and says, "2 of your friends are at the other side of the park, 1 is in the middle, and 2 are near the middle... I don't know where the girl (Saskia) that was here with you guys is though..."

"Oh... and my friend is also on the other side of the park."

James pauses for a bit analyzing Ariane before saying, "You don't have to tell me then..."

"I can teleport you two to the Empire State Building though, it's relatively far from here."

 

“Come on!”

 

A little silence...

He sighs.

"Sure..."

The umbrella flashes a Blue and Greenish aura and Saskia finds herself back across the street from Washington Square Park where Chris and the two archers are.

Wow... he lied.

What now?

 

"Honestly no idea, the ghost was a moron"

"Then the people in the middle should be brought to him"

 

"Yes, sorry. It is a bit confidential, and I am not sure if we can really tell." I reply to James after hearing Ariane's resopnse.

"I didn't know we were emitting that sort of aura. The fact that the top of the building is emitting a similar aura tells me that this couldn't be a coincidence. I wonder if the thugs also sensed that sense of aura and we somehow attracted them?"

I look towards Ariane.

"I am not sure. That would be really nice, and we might take your offer for that. However, what about the others in the group?"

 

"Sure, but do you think you can send our friends with me to? They're on the other side of the park."

"That's kind of mean to a dead person..."

"Well I mean... I don't know how easy it would be to teleport eight... no ten people at once..." she says.

"Wait, how many are in your group?" James asks.

 

"Nine, i can get there myself"

“10,000 feet...” the girl mutters. “Well I mean that’s two miles but this is Manhattan...”

 

I actually expected this, but didn't think I had a way to dodge it.

Note: Change Hate people to Hate people, but especially magic users.

Start walking towards the Empire State building (yes. walking.)
Also send a text to my sister telling her I might not make it home tonight, so she should buy something to eat. Also to stay over at a friend's if she could.

Saskia is on the other side of the park and has a passive that allows her to be unnoticed by people so I doubt Ariane would see her
