Don't worry. There's going to be- like- only 2 or 3 ways were I'll even have her consider having others as her friends. ;p;

 

"It is, and the best part is that a dead 12 year old told us"

 

"Wow... you're really uh... annoying?... wordplay isn't my specialty. But honestly... wouldn't it be easier to plan with the group?"

There's also a notable Green and Bluish aura starting to emit off of his umbrella.

"A... a ghost told you? To be honest," the girl faces Fabio, "I believe that more than your 'gods' giving you this quest..."

She then faces both of you. "But... I'm guessing you guys have to go to the Empire State Building right?"

 

Narrow my eyes. (which isn't that menacing coming from my current persona. :/)
"As far as I know, this is a request and not a job."
"I'll act how I like."

Woweee, I wonder what?

(I'm not gonna have my character remember many details about this btw)

 

I cleave at the now stunned thief...

 

I nod

 

"Yes. Ariane is a pretty nice name."

A city gang, huh? No surprise there, this is Manhattan, New York. These sorta people are basically everywhere, ready to pickpocket or grope whatever valuables you have with their greedy paws. Law and Order cannot restrict them, but it is troubling to see an entire gang assaulting people with daylight robbery, this I haven't seen much of.

I reply to James. "Sounds like quite the cult. But whatever they are doing, it ain't right."

I walk up towards the struggling Thief 3(A), and then to the surrendered Thief 2(A).

"You two, get out of here! Tell your group to stop harassing the public - they have nothing to do with it! Next time I see one of you Fates, we will be sure to kick your ass one more time! Out you go!"

I nod towards James. "Thanks for helping us, by the way. Your magic skills was quite useful in preventing their escape. I hope we can repay you some day."

And then, to Ariane @Host_Legacy, "It seems like we have split off from the group quite far. Now we got our equipment back, perhaps we should head back now?"

 

y tho, i mean it tells Saskia that all of the people telling her to "do her job" (basically all the 4th wall breakers) have at one point wielded the Eye Totem or at least interacted with it.

"Hah, lost time is lost time..."

"Seven days goes by fast, and it would probably more efficient to go at this as a group and not as a dysfunctional team."

The young adult then sighs and mutters something under his breath clearly frustrated but also a little sad.

What now?

Justin slings a rock dealing only 15 damage and Fov cleaves dealing ... oh shit 125 damage...

um, normally, i would just let you guys kill the dude since bringing an opponent to 0 hp will simply kill them rather than "down" them but uh, do you want to change that to "bring him down to 1 hp"?

"Well um... I do have a friend who can help teleport you... two... the girl (refering to Saskia) kinda just walked away. Are there any more people in your group?"

"Uh, wait a sec," James said.

"It might be weird to ask this but me and my friend felt a really powerful magical aura at the Empire State Building earlier and now, I feel that same magical powerful aura around you two... it's kinda strange and weird but do you guys know what it is?"

James also desummons his staff while saying this.

 

"Uh, we're on a hunt for something at the Empire State Building actually. How long has this aura been around the building anyways?"

 

"We're a total of 8 and i can get there on my own"

"Only today actually which made it really weird," James remarks. "What's at the Empire State Building?"

 

Because she was disoriented.

"Then make it worth it for me to work under other terms."

The girl looks at where you are all at right now and then looks at where the Empire State Building is.

"I'd say that's roughly 10,450 something feet? I've never been really good at calculating really far off distances..."

She seems to be a little doubtful of that number but to be fair, it's quite accurate.

"Where's the rest of your group?" she asks.

"Hm, maybe not dying would make it worth it?" he says slightly annoyed.

Obviously, this guy seems to give up easily but when he doesn't, he gets frustrated really fast.

"Dying sounds pretty painful, don't you think?" he says sarcastically.

 

Give a short laugh. (that looks more cute then cool. :/)
"If that's your only offer then I'll play on my terms."

 

"You're actually infuriating as hell," the young adult remarks.

"Is this why you have no friends?"
