SPOILER Really Annoying Issue That Needs To Be Patched

So Earlier I got a borange fluff after my second try on wybel. Someone wanted to do it with me so he could make money while I tried to get a 2nd one. While I was typing in chat AFTER Wybel died, A disintegrator core pulled me in and insta killed me within half a second. I was at 14 Soul points. 14 Think about that 14 I had a REALLY rare item. So as my life goes I lost all of my wybel fluff AND THE BORANGE. WHY 14 SOUL POINTS 14 WHY. So anyways aside from my fury all I want is for 3 star ingrediants to NOT Drop on death until you have like 7 soul points remaining.

also, it's most likely intended. If you die, you should't get away with no cost. The economy update made the cost of death bigger with things like these. Becides, it's only a small chance of dropping.

It's your fault, really. You just had to go and risk it all.

 

Risk it by fighting with full soul points? Only T 0-1 should drop on full soul points.

 

No actually, I had a few 1 stars and 15 fricking soul points and I lost my goddamn 3 star Mega Fern.

 

its a boss fight arena what do you expected? just be careful and you wont drop it again
also yea literally unplayable patch it now or be a nub

 

While I do question the wisdom in taking a moment to chat in the middle of a late-game boss altar arena, I would agree that the higher the player's current soul points and the higher the tier of an ingredient, the lower the chance that it should be lost on death. Lower-tier ingredients ought to be the first to go.

On a side-note, what if the Soul Point Regen ID directly skewed the odds of losing items on death to be less likely? Might be slightly less obsolete then.

What if they switched the drops for emeralds vs. ingredients? So that you start dropping ingredients at around 9sp and always drop some emeralds?

Got stuck in some part of the map once while collecting ingredients and materials, didn't have scrolls, so had to /kill. Lost a tonne of ingredients at 15 soul points.

 

What constructive critisism of this thread. You really outperformed yourself with such wisdom.

While I agree its not smart to type in a boss room, and this kind of thread belongs more to the General Suggestion Section or the Feedback Section, I have to say that it really makes no sense dropping nothing else but Ingredients and Materials upon dying. Maybe lowest tier, but not T3 stuff at 15 or 14 SP. It's almost like dropping your decent legendary weapon when dying with 14 SP in terms of "losing something valuable".

 

i agree with ur point but im pretty sure in maybe 1 month or 2 they will be alot cheaper, but yes you should drop 3 stars ingredients if you die with 15 sp

 

Yea, this happens in a specific situation to me.
Lets say im lootrunning for ingredients
A lot of the caves with high Tier loot chests have exit teleports.
I often find myself stuck after going through one of those, having to /kill and losing a bunch of ingredients.

 

It really depends on connection and how far the exit is from the entrance, because this happens when you tp into an unloaded chunks
The ones where i have consistent problems is a cave in the troms jungle, the entrances is at (-620 -725)
Cant really remember the others, but it happens in most caves where you get tped on top of a slope, where you can run into the chunks

This has happened to me in troms jungle and spider cave in nivla. Though I think this is more of a Minecraft lag/block glitch issue than a wynncraft issue. Also getting stuck doesn’t happen every time it’s sorta random when it happens.

 

you should try using /class and jumping/walking around directly after you choose your class to get out of the ground, works for me

 

i agree this fucking sucks. You spend 10 hours getting one crafting item and instantly die. Knowing the dev team they wont fix it though

 

Yea it works but it causes problems if im on a gathering / loot run
