Nice job! But see how you can be credited for making such a cool item? People without a rank can’t do that. (Don’t mean to bitch about it but I just really hate the fact that I can put a lot of work into an item and not even be credited)

 

Only the fire and thunder are high enough to pierce Qira's element defenses; she has 300.

Why would they? Crafted items are supposed to be good, and if they nerf the stuff into oblivion and make crafted items barely as good as legendaries, no one will go through the hassle of leveling up their professions. Imo its fine as is for most of the ingredients.

 

Depends on there skill points.
Fire and thunder will do it anyways, but the others will as well if you have enough of there prospective state.

Multipliers like attack speed and spell multiplier don't; however % Dmg boosts will help:

"Elemental Melee Damage with Elemental Defense
{ (Base Damage) x (1+(ID Boost)) - (Elemental Defense) }

Elemental Spell Damage with Elemental Defense
{ (Base Damage) x (1+(ID Boost)) - (Elemental Defense) } x (Attack Speed Boost) x (Spell Base Multiplier)"

 

unless i 100% screwed things up, this gets 9.1k spins with "damage" rainbow slap (8.9k nulli)
still really good, but not mega op game-breaking

 

Exactly let's hope they rebalance the game so that the new feature they introduced in the update becomes worthless haha yay xD

 

more like they are better than mythics and not on par when mythics already made the game way too easy

 

Perhaps this is all a preparation for what is to come in the next updates? We don't know it yet, but maybe the game is going to become a lot harder once RtD arrives?

 

That sounds likely to me - we can already see the midgame becoming a lot harder in 1.18. Desert is slightly harder, same for Nesaak/Lusuco, Jungle is quite a bit harder, and let's not even get into the Great Bridge.

 

even the endgame is harder (in particular, those starred mobs)

 

749 dmg at slow atk speed, not bad but grim has 828, not sure about other daggers but i believe nirv grim and weath r all on the same dps level a bit below inferno and the forbidden dagger. I guess this dagger can out dps nulli uwu

Ice Bear would rather see a rare, legendary, and mythic buff than a crafted weapon nerf. Mainly a buff to mythics that can easily be replaced by crafted weapons such as, *cough *cough Lament, any thunder weapon, and rainbow weapons. Ice Bear thinks that crafted weapons make non-unique mythics obsolete while some mythics that are unreplaceable such as warp and stratiformis are the only ones safe. When you think about it all mythics are are high damaging weapons whose uniqueness is just a quirk or even a downside to be worked around. Crafted weapons have the damage without the quirks. Legendary weapons shouldn't be forgotten either.

 

how is lament easily replaced by other weapons?
while its damage is sort of mediocre (13k), it has absolutely INSANE mana. the sheer cast speed you can achieve with lament gives you stupid high tankiness (heal spam, also water damage for heals) and pretty good dps

 

Ice Bear is not sure what you mean by cast speed but assumes you mean that because the mana steal is so high you can cast spells faster than other wands. Ice Bear personally does not value mana steal as a stat because it isn’t a reliable source of mana unlike mana regen. Sure it is a lot of mana steal but usually it isn’t noticed because of the the mana regen overshadowing it on popular spell builds. Ice Bear sees the value mana steal brings but it isn’t that great to justify its mediocre damage compared to other wands.
