The horses line up for the final race. Ready, Steady, GO!
The horses are neck in neck at first put quickly smooth out. Gregory leads the pack with Lucky following behind, Bruce in third, and Authur in the rear. As the race progresses Gregory seems to be...slowing down. We also see Bruce moving forward in the group, surpassing Lucky, and and then Gregory who starts falling behind lucky. The horses near the finish line and it seems Bruce is gonna take it, when all of a sudden, Authur starts pushing his way to the front. He was the real late bloomer. Authur puts himself way ahead of the other horses while Gregory falls behind in the pack.

You're math are wrong (Not like it change anything, but still), I'm at 1900 (Yes I complain for $600, I want my third place XD)

First round : 1000 - 900 = 100
Gained 1800, 100 + 1800 = 1900

Second round : 1900 - 900 = 1000
Gained 1350, 1000 + 1350 = 2350

Third round : 2350 - 900 = 1450
Gained 1350, 1450 + 1350 = 2800

Fourth round : 2800 - 900 = 1900
Gained 900, 1900 + 900 = 2800

Fifth round : 2800 - 900 = 1900
Lost, stay at 1900

 

Sadly, 600 isn't enough to make a difference.
