Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

“Alright. I need to turn in my report anyways, so if you meet me near the portals I’ll have something in mind by the time I get there.”

 

Ihra's rest is disturbed when she feels something heavy hit her torso, before she hears a squawking.

 

She instinctively swipes at whatever it is with her claws, quickly standing up before stumbling back to her knees.

 

"Okay!"
Crystal runs off to the portal room.

 

About five minutes later, Linoa shows up there.
“Alright, how about one of Gaia’s worlds? There’s a couple that have been left alone.”

 

“Ooo, sure! How many can we go to?”

 

“Two are confirmed safe, so... literally a couple.”

 

“Uhhh, the second one.”
Crystal says after rattling his head a bit.
“Let’s do the second one.”

 

"Apparently it's a world that treats evolution like a sandbox. We should see some interesting things there, or nothing at all if everything hides."

 

“Well, let’s see.”

 

"My scent is strong. And I don't see a sign at the moment."

 

She ends up goring a hawk, it's chest bleeding as it flies away.

 

She looks around for whatever may be next.
“Now what...?”

“We’re still several blocks out, and it’s around the corner anyways.”

Linoa reverts, turning the disc to Gaia’s portal.
“Be on your guard, we need to be wary of anything that stuck around in Gaia’s palace.”

 

The path is still blocked by the earth guardian statue. It doesn't look like it's going to budge, either.

 

Ihra looks towards the forest guardian statue, confused as she tries touching the earth guardian statue.

 

“I’m behind you.”
Crystal prepares to follow.

 

As soon as Ihra gets close to the earth guardian statue, she's telekinetically blasted back head-over-heels. Luckily, it wasn't hard enough to throw her off the mountain, but it was enough to daze her a little.

 

She steps through, and Crystal notices that the palace is in utter ruins.

Ihra tries approaching the forest guardian statue.

 

The statue doesn't do anything to Ihra this time, but it does seem to be tending to a patch of mushrooms in front of it. A few of the mushrooms seem to have been picked, though there are a few small ones in their place.

 

Curious, Ihra tries picking one of the grown mushrooms.
