SPOILER 1.18 New Rare Mobs! Parts 1 And 2!

How can you say that for sure? Have you even seen some of the ingredients..? Crafting seems to be super op and you can make some amazing gear, so basically if you focus on leveling it a bit early game and then pushing it endgame you will be able to craft op gear making it good in the long run, not useless..

 

because you can make a one shot build in the same time it would take to get the super rare ingredients for the craftable gear and im almost positive a one shot build will be hard to make with the craftable materials mainly because it takes less effort to find materials than it does to farm

 

okay I really did make it seem like you need super op ingredients to make good stuff but thats not true at all, even by slapping some powders and a random good ingredient you found you can already make a really good weapon possibly better than whatever you'd find, another thing I'd like to point out is that you can get most ingredients from chests, meaning that you are pretty likely to find a good ingredient along your journeys instead of having to farm the whole day for a single really good ingredient, then again its still rng were talking about so you could be right, but we will have to see that when the update actually releases

 

well my theory is that it will be easier to just farm for items or do quests lol

 

You can easily craft armors with 45%+ xp bonus on each armor at like level 30. Ingredients are also not that hard to find, since they can be found in chests. They work the same way as items - the longer the chest stays unopened, the better the loot.

I believed they were useless compared to most of the other items dropped by the rare mobs, not because other items may be better. Also, I believe I said "useless" 1 or more times and called some "not very useful", not "useless".

The mobs aren't that rare, probably more common than legendaries, but they don't always have a 100% item drop chance. And I did notice some of the ingredients before had some uses, so I probably should change that.

 

I found this in the dernal jungle, I killed it twice but it didn't drop anything so far, pretty sure this was added in the recent push

 

it seems to spawn around the rest of the idols only

 

seems like no one mentioned this guy yet, spawns in light forest if you kill the "auric foliage" bush

He drops luxroot cuttings, fairy dust, and sometimes a golden root

 

i saw an item called Elephelk trunk is there a mob for that

 

I've been in the Canyon of the Lost and it most likely drops from the Elefolk enemies and not a rare mob, since they spawn in certain spots, but most rare mobs spawn across one region. (With the exception of the Plains Guardian, which I have only found in one spot.)
