    What I was going for. You never specified if I could make a passive or whatever.

    As for my new ability...
    Afterimage: Ariane enters a defense stance and seems to be blinking in and out of existence. In reality, she's moving super fast. The next time an enemy attacks her, the attack automatically misses and Ariane counters with a sword attack of your own.

    it generally depends on the opponent's turn.

    this is because opponents can do either a single attack (like a fireball or something) which would last for about like 5-10 seconds... and if you add the player's turn, a full turn (players + opponents turn) would last around 15-20 seconds.

    But opponents can also do extended attacks like they do one attack after the other.

    Like let's say they first do a fire wave, the players get a chance to dodge it but then after that, the opponent sends like three fireballs which the players get another chance to avoid as well.

    so now the turn is like double as long...

    but generally, you can expect a turn to be around 15-20 seconds.

    do you want to be able to use this move (like activate it) during an enemie's turn

    Justin retreats and . . . plays the harmonica while Rose and Fov rush up to Corvus using Bonk and Cleave respectfully.

    Rose hits the weird symbol green and red totem and deals no damage.. the totem seems to protect itself with a green flash of light... hmmm that might tell you something....

    Fov hits the M looking totem which flashes 6 dots for a second (5 of the dots are gold, one dot is transparent and grey) before knocking Fov back about 10 meters somehow ignoring his passives (probably since it's a totem of power created during the big bang. . .) and dealing 50 damage seeming to ignore his defenses.

    The black totem shimmers and vanishes first and Corvus vanishes a second after.

    She reappears about 10 meters away from Rose who was in melee range of her.

    The black totem reappears in the orbiting circle.

    The infinity sign totem then shimmers and disappears.

    Suddenly, everyone feels a huge jolt in the ground and three of the tall redwood trees start to creek over and fall. Sadly, since everyone is positioned in like one line, (HoY, Fov, Rose - - Corvus), it seems that the three falling trees will be able to hit all of you.

    Recommended Actions:

    Get the hell out of there.

    Special Attack: Inertia Manipulation - Unrelenting Onslaught (aka kms cuz of how gimmicky it is):
    Deals major damage and knockback to all enemies in a straight line by charging with the shield. Enemies hit by the shield have a chance to be confused and/or stunned. The user takes minor damage if any of the charge targets are abnormally large. The user Slices nearby enemies with the halberd while charging, dealing normal damage. The user then rests, hidden behind his shield the next turn, regenerating more energy than usual whilst covered by the same protective barrier made by the Reinforce spell.

    Reinforce: Shields two party members with a protective barrier for 2 or 3 turns. The barrier mainly shields from magical attacks, but also mildly from physical. He may use it on himself.

    Add +20% defense to regular non-magic attacks (added onto all passive defenses that are in play)
    If shielding two people, the effect is cut in half.

    Inertia Manipulation - Stunning Stance:
    Shouts a battle cry, directing all attacks towards himself for 2 or 3 turns. AoE attacks deal increased damage to the user and decreased damage to the other targeted party members. All damage received by the user this turn is minorly reduced. One enemy is rendered immobile for 1-3 turns, the weaker the longer. Exceptionally strong/large enemies either aren’t stunned or require an extra amount of energy to stun.

    Like a surge of energy running down my veins, and figuring perhaps physical attacks might not do it, I shall resort to magical attacks.

    But for this attack to land straight into my target, I will need some help. Perhaps there is a cooldown to the skills the totems provides, and this will be my opportunity.

    I shout to my allies, "Justin! Fov! Burn some time! Line them, straight! Then Scatter!"

    Since I have split off from my allies, I run and hide, hoping to get a good line of our enemy...

    I prepare Gamma Ray Burst (65% Energy) on Corvus as a follow up after my allies' moves.

    Another idea: I charge in and fake her out, and just as she attempts to magically shield or dodge, you then recall and I release the energy all at her.

    Next level strategy right there. Even better: Fov then charges in from the side and then we basically done like a triple team advance.

    Ok basically, you earn Adrenaline Energy if you completely dodge an attack...

    normally i wouldnt be this leniant but this is the very first battle where this system has been implemented so whatever.

    however, to dodge attacks in the future, y'all might need to be a tad more specific (like PikaLegend) to potentially earn Adrenaline energy.

    Adrenaline Energy disappears next turn but can be used the turn you have it.
