Resource Pack Rings Reimagined: Wynnrings

Hey bubs

So, yesterday people started comparing the new and old rings with eachother, with the conclusion that the old ones are more unique and original than the new ones. However, the old rings don't necessarily fit in with the new textures, so, I decided to remake all of the old rings to suit the newer smooth and shiny style, and made a resource pack of them. I'm not really a pixel artist, nor am I claiming that these are better than either of the official ones, but I thought someone'd get some enjoyment out of them anyways.

Pack only includes ring textures and their models. Not the whole pack. No need to extract the zip file, just move it into your resource packs folder, and make sure it's on top of your WynnPack in minecraft.

Also... What kind of a genious thought that using "silver" instead of "light_gray" to describe light gray was a good idea?

otherwise very nice, think it help if you kept the borders

 

But... That's the one thing that separates them from the old ones, and moves them towards the newer ones ;-;

Imo they're a bit too bulky. Also I think the new rings are a botched attempt at perspective, so I think it's worth looking into, although it's probably hard to do.

the only thing I dislike about the new textures are that the circles of the rings, the rest is fine

Too bulky in my eyes

 

They're the exact same as the old ones, apart from having moderately colored outlines. You should also note, that they have a lot of transparent parts which look solid as an image on the forums

 

Guess I’d have to see the ingame texture for it then.

Since rings had another redesign with the release of 1.18, this has become pretty irrelevant. Go enjoy the real deal!

 

Something still looks messed up with those.
Like the bands look kinda, wonky, and the stones and details don't look centered.
