Noticing the seven totems of power around her, it made me quite curious and wary about what this Angel could do. After all, I could only assume that it would mean destructive power when all of them are utilized. I cast Seek Truth for 20% Energy on the Fallen Angel, Corvus.

Cleave does 75 damage (RN=6) ignoring Corvus’s Base Defense because of piercing damage!

Seek Truth reveals that Corvus has 30% magic and elemental defenses but no neutral / regular Attack defenses. The two weakest totems of power are the totem of force and probability.

You all learn that the totem of force can be used to control some natural forces . . . (Wow) like gravity and shit.

Sadly, nothing is learned about the totem of probability.

You also learn that there is a way to get rid of her elemental defenses but you don’t quite know yet.

Suddenly, a large meteor forms in the sky and flies towards your group.

I, the tank supposed to save my friends from death and despair, run for me life.

 

I, who have Full Counter on, shall run in because I don't seem to give a crap about a meteor just yet. (I mean, I am BETTING that it is magical, but if it turns out to be physical WELL IM SCREWED)

I rush into melee zone with Corvus and channel my light magic into my staff to Starlight Rush (35% Energy) the Fallen Angel, Corvus!

If anything were to be achieved is that if the meteor hits me the Angel might hit itself too xD


(I will have 55% Energy by the end of this turn it looks like)

 

Wait, Starlight Rush can be used to interrupt an opponent’s turn?

(I’d be fine with that btw, there wouldn’t be any additional drawbacks if that’s the case)

 

It says chance to stun for the turn (and only for that one turn), however, since the meteor is already pre-casted, it should not stop it at all.

 

Yeah but right now, it’s still the opponent’s turn. All your characters are supposed to be allowed to do is dodge out of the way or talk unless you have a specific counter attack like how HoYoBoy does with Slingshot (can be used during an opponent’s turn)

 

Ah, I see. I thought it was our turn. Well, I think I might just stand still and see what happens.

Justin and Fov are barely able to get out of the blast zone taking minimal damage.

Justin takes 24 dmg and Fov takes 6 dmg.

Rose doesn't take any damage from the meteor despite being hit dead on because of Justin casting Full Counter on her.

Another meteor forms this time over Justin's head and flies towards Corvus who takes on the full damage of the meteor without taking any damage . . . ??? Oh, one of the totems shielded her.

DAMN IT! Damn that shielding totem. I was about to do something so cool and utter mindblowing and it worked but it doesn't. Oh well.

I charge into melee range to bonk with my staff against any one of the random totems orbiting Corvus that I can reach. If the Angel's powers originates from these totems... perhaps disarming all of them would weaken her powers!

Is there a way to perhaps identify which totems are which, perhaps through their color, shape or symbols? I wonder. Maybe when they are activated, I will see which ones correlates to which powers...

yeah i forgot to describe what the totems look like atm . . . (since i wasn't prepared to make an OOC battle)

uh, there's 1 totem that looks like an infinity sign and it's blue

1 totem looks like the letter M and it's gold

1 totem looks like a leaf, a water droplet, and a flame at the same time and is multicolored (green, blue, orange / red). it was the one that disappeared

1 totem looks like a ton of random markings put together to make a weird symbol. It’s green and reddish

1 totem looks like a random swirling looking symbol. The totem is white

1 looks like a slash mark. It’s a black totem

And the last one looks like an eye. It’s grey
