Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The necklace glows softly with magic, though doesn't appear to anything else. Ihra can feel it's magic mixing with hers, however, letting her use it when casting spells or using magic.

 

"Fair."

"So about those charms. I don't think we can find any here."

 

Ihra seems a bit put off by the necklace, but keeps it on for a while anyways as she waits for the guard to return.

"Yeah, this was a bust. Maybe the Leviathan would know? He's been around for a long time."

 

The guard takes a long while to get back, though once he returns, he looks a little disappointed.

"I'm sorry, Miss Ihra, but the sender of your gift didn't leave their name. All that's known is they were a shadow guardian, and they skipped off excitedly after sending it." The guard says.

 

"It's fine. If they ever come back, thank them for me if possible." Ihra shrugs. "I should get going, anyways. Thank you for checking."

 

"No problem, Miss Ihra. Stay safe." The guard says, before returning to his post nearby.

 

She warps outside of the palace, then tries to reach out to Tenebrae.
“Lady Tenebrae, is Aj still safe? I haven’t heard anything about him in a while.”

 

Ihra doesn't get a response, finding it hard to make a connection at all.

 

She seems a bit worried, warping to Earth before trying to reach out to Gaia or Praecantatia.

 

Ihra manages to make a connection with Gaia once on Earth.

"Yes, my child?" Gaia responds.

 

“Is Lady Tenebrae okay? She seemed more distant from the Realm of Shadows than I remembered.” Ihra asks, concerned.

 

"I believe she is. What makes you think she's distant?" Gaia asks.

 

I try and find one anyways, then lead him back home.


“Yeah, well...”
There’s a long pause as Voidfiller stops.

 

“Usually when I reach out to her, regardless of a response I can feel her presence. Her presence was noticably smaller when I reached out to her hoping to ask if she knew where Aj or Artemis were.”

 

"How odd. Well, if you'd like to know the location of Artemis, she's with me." Gaia responds happily.

 

He gets up and lets you lead, weary.


“It happened before?”

“May I come see her, please?” Ihra asks, sounding slightly relieved.

 

"Of course." Gaia says positively.

A few moments later, vines emerge from the earth, snaking around Ihra before completely covering her. She feels the vines tighten around her before she blacks out.

An indeterminable amount of time later, Ihra wakes up in a grassy field. She feels happier than before, and it's a sunny day. Guardians seem to be all around her, playing, running or using their respective elements.

 

"Worth a try, but he's kinda far from here."

 

Ihra looks around for Artemis, relaxing.

“We’re closer to the beach here than we were in the mountains.”

 

While she can't immediately see Artemis, she can sense her nearby, among some trees.
