yooo it was just a suggestion.

i mean passive energy isnt the only way to gain energy (there's another way to gain energy in combat through the form of some food items or something called adrenaline energy . . . if there was a mana mage then i would make it so that adrenaline energy isnt as influential). just go with your other ideas

"EEEEEeeeeKkkkkkk!!" screaming and by instinct, I bonk the person right in front of me (who startled me with his touch) with my staff in hand. Definitely confused, followed by a moment of realization that he was as confused as I am, "Oh sorry, sorry, sorry! I was just training at school and was prepared to parry when suddenly... wait, where the heck is this place? Is... is this some sort of teleportation magic? Where are we?"

 

"Ok, I got my recall spell working, I should be able to recall you in case we get into trouble."

 

"Rightio, cooooooooooool. For some reason, this place is definitely giving me some sort of 'test arena' vibes. Is there even a door here? Hello?"

I adjusted my round glasses which seemed to be about to fall off, and then noticed the middle age man next to me. It is like a weird familiar force entering my mind, yet a force so much more unexplainable than science or magic. "You know, for some reason, despite never meeting you guys before, it is like I have this weird feeling that I know you guys from the beginning already, as though we have met for a long time, like deja vu or something. This room... is this some sort of tutorial? Could this be like, the ultimate OOC combat tutorial? Even me blurting out this line seems quite OOC, since it is like a double meta out-of-character-of-the-character (OOCC) as I don't actually roleplay that well when in character, and we will probably forget about all this that happened when the rp actually begins. All we need is some enemies to suddenly spawn out for us to fight to confirm that this theory of mine is true!"
