New update so bs, why did they nerf cata

 

big wait energy. i feel like the hype is dying down because of the early december beta and then an entire month with nothing.

 

The devs must fix many things, they must perfect the crafting system, perfect all ingredients to be dropped and have the stats when every mob drops them, fix models for mobs so they don't look broken, making sure that gathering works properly, completing the rest of the molten heights questline, fixing and patching quests, whatever the secret feature is they may be working on it, the ice barrows dungeon doesn't appear to be complete, and most importantly the need more money as their budget very high to work with in the first place so consider donating if you wish, but if you wish the update now expect it to be a bit sloppy and incomplete, so be patient I know it's a long time but moving Wynncraft to 1.8 (minecraft) to 1.12.2 can be a long process

 

Isn't Wynn already mostly there? I mean I always play on 1.12 or 1.11.2 and I have no problems

 

Wynncraft currently is on 1.8 to 1.13.2 meaning the server ONLY uses 1.8 mechanics but in the update it will update to 1.12.2 so it can only supports 1.12.2, no longer supporting 1.8 it, meaning that server moderating is a bit different as well as using 1.12 mechnics for features, like structure blocks and function that make making the server more versatile, but at the same time getting used to these tools

 

The server-side of things is 1.8. The client can theoretically be anything after 1.8, but 1.13 brought a lot of under-the-hood changes with it, so backward-compatibility is kinda broken.

 

is there a leveling system by gathering stuff for example if you are fishing and you gain experience for Fishing level for skills. i would do it like skyrim like with a skill tree or something

Yes there are now 13 different levels. Combat, fishing, mining, woodcutting, farming, woodworking, weaponsmithing, armoring, tailoring, alchemism, cooking, jeweling, and scribing. Combat dictates ability to use items and available quest, mining, woodcutting, fishing, and farming dictate what you are able to gather in that profession (Ex. Lvl 1-9 mining can only gather copper, lvl 10-19 mining can only gather copper and granite), woodworking, weaponsmithing, armouring, tailoring, scribing, jeweling, alchemism, and cooking dictate the materials, ingredients, and recipes you can use (ex. Lvl 1 cooking can only use lvl 1 cooking ingredients, lvl 1 cooking recipes, and lvl 1 cooking materials.)

It's very bad and negative joke, may not even be a joke at all, I find it insulting to say it out-loud and not to keep it yourself, also you didn't have to insult me about it, but I'm not gonna make a argument but I can tell you that saying that something is a lie even though there's a bunch of proof about it not and thinking it's funny isn't satisfying

 

To say it more nicely; you either got wooshed really hard or that guy really doesn't understand the time and effort put into an update like this
