Honestly it's not that great of a build. If you really want a thunder build, there's probably a Judas build that's better, and if you don't, full morph rainbow hive works very well.

The first one seems fine, although if possible I would recommend Diamond Hydro Necklace for the mana regen. As for the second one, if you can find a way to use Atlas (probably by switching Abysso Galoshes for something with more health) that would be quite helpful, since you'll still have plenty of mana steal but can now take advantage of Super Slow Chain Lightning. I would also recommend using Gold/Diamond Solar Necklace instead. I made an attempt at this: https://wynndata.tk/s/WLxV8h

Although, I'm of the opinion that mana regen Brainwash is better than mana steal Brainwash.

how does the super slow chain lightning thing work exactly?

 

Every hit of Chain Lightning acts like a single melee hit, for the purposes of Life Steal/Mana Steal. This means that slower attack speeds have a much better yield. For example, T6-T6 Chain Lightning with a Super Slow weapon will generally activate LS/MS 4-5 times per use, but for a Super Fast weapon will activate on average about once every two uses.
