SPOILER 1.18: Ingredients (464/500), Materials And Gathering Tools

No idea if someone tried, I didn't go searching for ingredients myself

 

Ingredients updated.... 391/500 ... today only 1 found :(

 

Although it would probably a lot more work, I think it could be very helpful to add information on how to get an ingredient, as far as they are known.

 

if im not wrong no one fround it in game but in the resource pack, also the names a probably not confirmed but we know they are related to dern just by the look

 

Names are the filenames in the resource pack

 

It's possible that the final version will include this info (similar to the items list).

 

I would like to have that, but I need to understand how the item system works (for how to obtain them), seems to be different than the one for items.... and there are also bugs right now, ingredients being found in ways they should not be found etc so ... :/

Have you looked in Realm of Light? The mobs there drop some misc items

Also, the number of found ingredients can’t be found or does not exist

 

what does "+/-x% effectiveness to ingredients higher/lower/next to than this" mean?

 

Fairly sure it just increases/decreases(by % specified) all of the different effects on items in the given direction

 

but what does it mean by direction?

 

Theres a 3x3 crafting grid for ingredients correct? (Pretty sure I saw this in the video)

So if you place one that buffs others above it on one of the bottom 3 tiles, that will buff the effectiveness of the 2 above it in the same column

 

It means that the ingridients placed above it in the crafting interface get bonuses and such.
Example:

Ingridient A is A
Ingridient B is B
Ingridient C is C
A and C do the same things
B gives 50% boost to ingridients above it

So if they were placed like
A
B
C
C would not be boosted, but A would be boosted because it’s placed above B

 

When you craft an item, you put up to 6 ingredients in a grid to make the item, the grid is a 2x3 (2 width 3 height), so an item with +100% effectiveness to ingredients below, will make the ingredients below it give 100% more effect (like if the ingredient below gives +3 intel, with the +100% effectiveness it now gives +6 intel)

Does %effectiveness affect durability/duration increases/decreases?

 

I haven't done any testing on that yet
