Apparently Hypixel's Is The Only Community With The "vanilla Pvp Is Best" Thing?

So I've been playing a lot of Super Smash Mobs on Mineplex recently, also Tower Defence on Cubecraft, and I noticed that minigame playerbases were a lot more balanced in these, compared to Hypixel where there is 100 guys for all minigames (some not even that) and Bed Wars has 6k
Example from Cubecraft:
As you can tell if you can see the numbers, stuff like Tower Defence has about 150 players while SkyWars, Eggwars and Lucky Islands has about 300-600, which isn't that big of a difference
Sure, the PvP stuff is still the most popular but the gap isn't nearly asdamaging as Hypixel's, where in Hypixel you literally can't play Warlords or most of the Arcade Games without waiting the time a DvZ game would take to get people in, here you can actually play the game you wish to play whenever you want, as, even if there is a half of the amount of players the PvP stuff has, there is always enough people to play

In case of Mineplex:

I'm sure that these 2 minigames would be completely dead in Hypixel, but both of them have a pretty solid playerbase in Mineplex, while Cake Wars has about
Even Survival Games isn't dead, thing that doesn't happen in Hypixel, as it is pretty dead there
Sure, Cake Wars is marketed as the big one being put in the middle and in front of everything, but it still has only about twice/thrice as much as the other minigames, unlike in Hypixel, where a minigame has 200 players and Bed Wars has 9k (sure, 200 is still playable but it is still absurdly low compared to the 9k)

And the "But in HypePickle Bed Wars is the only thing that gets updates" doesn't really work, tell me when was the last update of SSM or TD, not recently at all

I don't know about other servers, but this is definetly a thing that caught my attention, how these 2 servers hold a pretty balanced playerbase across all minigames while Hypixel has Bed Wars and SkyWars at 4k players each and the rest of the minigames at 0-400
And funny enough, the most dead minigames in hypixel are usually the ones that aren't vanilla PvP, such as Arena Brawl, Smash Heroes or Warlords, 2 of which are pretty much unplayable at this point due to noone playing them
I wonder why this happens

What do you guys think of this? is it weird or is it the most normal thing to ever norm around? (Yeah I'm aware Smash Mobs and TD are pretty cool minigames and it is logical they have their playerbase thank you very much)

 

It’s kind of a spectrum. Champions, for example, is pretty dead at this point. Cubecraft is kind of an exception since Tower Defence is pretty popular still

 

I heard that's because people were starting to get pretty toxic with it
so everyone just dropped it

 

Wanna do some tower defence some time? Feel like doing it but I have no friends to do it with nor trust randos on my team.

Dwarves vs Zombies


A team of players build a base, and see how long they can last against the other team of Zombies. (Also if a Dwarf dies, they become a Zombie)

 

I'm surprised minplex isn't dead yet, probably the community is like 50% or more hackers at this point

 

Wtf 59 people playing ssm.
Usually when I go on mineplex every month to get my monthly (because I found eternal in an egg during the easter event or from a chicken during the thanksgiving event I forget) there's only like 15 people.

Anyway about what you're saying: I think it's because a lot of the players which go on Hypixel (it being the most popular server) are new. So they will only be used to vanilla pvp so they will try that first I reckon.

 

No one cares that much about spelling on the internet, not because “mentally incapable” people misspell it, or as normal people call “dumb,” they just don’t care. Also at least if you’re going to be like that, spell misspell right and incapable right.

Enough about that r/iamverysmart rant, yeah, those new people play only bedwars, and some old people too. That’s why hypixel has a fraction of players playing minigames.

Plus I never called him "dumb", so I'm not sure why you have that in quotation marks. Well done for catching me out on missing out the s on misspell! I must have forgot to put it in, (don't worry I do know how to spell that word XD), don't be like that I wasn't calling him stupid or anything. It's just a common misunderstanding of a simple word, also you forgot an of before "mentally incapable". It just annoys me that people (younger people obviously) can't spell words. To be honest when I was like 13-14 I put "your" instead of "you're" when it was "you are" so I'm not going to make a claim of myself being clever or anything XD. (Although I did just get back an 8 in my English language GCSE mock (old A*) so I'm pretty happy about that.

I don't really play minecraft any more so I am not going to pretend to be good at that either.
