its not a temporary its a definitive build. its better than it seems to i could easily solo li with it and the hive bow. qira also should not be that much of a problem.

Are you serious? Do you really expect to convince people that using the morph set is a build? That’s the most uncreative stuff I’ve ever heard. If you really want to make a nice build with rainbow you have endless possibilities and options, you can go for an extreme tank build or a thunder-oriented damage build, anything is possible and it’s really up to you. Morph set may work but it sure as hell shouldn’t be a recommendation for a permanent build that you give to someone.

Edit: @pekk If you want a good build that can solo Qira without dungeon/li items, here's one It's fairly basic rainbow with all you'll need from defenses to agility for survivability and then mana + being able to hit well over 10k average bombs. In all, it works great for your purpose and should be easy to obtain, have fun!

As the creator of the thread has said, they don't want to use full morph so I don't expect to convince them to use it if they don't want to. However, I am now going to address you. You only hate morph BECAUSE it's generic. As Nicbomb has stated once, the set is basically telling you to wear all of it, hence the reason it is looked down upon and not considered a "build". Whether or not you actually consider it a build, it can 100% work as a permanent option in the right situation. That doesn't mean it has it's downsides and it is far from op, but it is good, and honestly it is one of the best options for rainbow. Even as much as a love morph, it is important to know what it can or can't do effectively.

If you really want a list of pros and cons that I can think of relatively off the top of my head to full morph then here you go.
-Stupidly high amounts of skill points, meaning you can easily hit the intel caps, hit high agility, etc.
-Due to its high amounts of sp and that it's rainbow damage, it can use various secondaries to an extended degree effectively.
-12k Hp (12.5k if you decide to use double morph-emerald).
    -Decent elemental defenses.
-Still gets good/decent damage, and can hit even higher than that depending on how much you put into strength/dexterity.
-Extremely easy to acquire (even if you have to buy from players all the pieces are very cheap outside of maybe stardust).
-100% Xp bonus helps when grinding since you can still get high damage off and get good xp (this however is being changed for some reason because I guess level 101, and once 1.18 comes out 101-104, just don't exist).
-^Once said above change happens, it will still have 80% lb when wearing the full set though, still making it a decent option for grinding/lr purposes (but by no means the best).
-^Not talking about full morph, but you could still do something like 7 morph capri for decent xp bonus to grind since only wearing the full set changes the xp to lb.
    -No walkspeed.
-On it's own it has very little mana sustain, so it really only works well with a weapon that already has mr (hence why morph capri is popular since it provides both walkspeed and better mana sustain).
-Still on the lower side of damage for what other builds can do (usually has better mana sustain/intel/agility compared to them to make up for it).
-Outside of rainbow builds it's not all that good imo (unless you need a load of sp).
-Relies heavily on how good your rolls for sp are to make the most use out of it (although it's usually not that hard to acquire good pieces of it anyways).
-From my own experience, it is bad for warring unless using mana/sp pots (morph aquarius is a better option for that without those).
If you're only argument is that it's bad because it's boring, then that's just plain dumb. I don't care if you consider it a build or not, but labeling it immediately as bad compared to anything else just because it's uncreative in how it's used is stupid. Is Apoc bad since it's ridiculously generic as a melee weapon? No.

If you actually compare full morph to the build you offered, the only two things yours has going for it over full morph is 1. walkspeed and 2. elemental defenses (excluding earth). Outside of that, they both get relatively the same damage, full morph greatly exceeds in mana sustain, morph has slightly higher hp, morph is arguably much easier to acquire than that build, and morph greatly exceeds in skill points left over (whereas you need double perfect finesse in order to not have to be 101 to use yours). I guess that just straight up doesn't matter to you since it's full morph though.

Again, as I said before the creator of the thread has already said that they don't want to use full morph (and even acknowledged the fact that morph is good but they want to use something more unique), and that is fine if that is not a option they want to use and I'm not trying to force them to use it. What I am addressing, however, is you and frankly anyone who just has the "it's bad because it's generic/uncreative/boring" argument when it comes to either creating or using a build.

You can think that if you want, but when it actually comes down to looking at things from more of a practical approach and comparing what they can or can't do effectively that ideology becomes irrelevant. Look at sp pots for example. People (including myself) hate using skill point pots and don't want to use them. Does that mean they are bad and we should go make everyone else who uses them stop doing so? No, because they are undeniably strong and it is understandable why you would want (or need) to use one.

tl;dr Basically stop labeling this kind of stuff bad just because you don't like it and actually take the time to look at what it can or can't do before labeling it as bad.

Hey Shots, I got a few things to say. First off, I recognize that morph is strong, what I don't like about it is lack of creativity, originality, and overall its ability to be slapped on any couple of items and boost a build's Skill Points and power drastically. Overall, it isn't a bad choice for a temporary option. However, my issue comes in when you talk about how it is a permananent option. Why would you use this item permanently when you can mix and match so many cool playstyles? The build I provided wasn't original in any way, it was only meant to be temporary while they get Hive items etc. for a good build. I love rainbow as an element combination, when it comes to rainbowslap (Usage of a non rainbow weapon with a majority of rainbow items. ex. Full rainbow with cataclysm) I do not tolerate it. Again I don't deny that morph is a good option, I just do not like seeing it as a permanent option especially with a mythic that can work so well with different combos.
As for this, I never labelled morph as bad and I want to clarify that my intention is to let you know that taking the easy way out when looking for or making a build is never a good option. I understand that you like morph alot but have you considered using other styles of builds? I just want to encourage creativity, which shines in every non-rainbowslap build where morph doesn't. There are thousands of items created by the IMs to fit every playstyle and using something as bland as morph just makes me sad that all those other items go to waste. Thats just my opinion, though.

Your comment about me not using other styles is honestly humorous and an attempt to undermine what I have said without directly addressing it. If you really must know, I have used many, MANY different play styles ranging from pure spell spam water to hybrid hellstrand to literally island sniper melee (trust me that one didn't exactly go well). For specifically rainbow archer, I have ranged from using standard rainbow, knucklebones in spell spam, and to even pandemonium at one point for a more glassy approach. Again, this side comment doesn't relate that much to the discussion at hand as much as it does to try and avoid me.

Back to the discussion, your point about permanent options is strange. Is that not the point of finding a play style or option that you like? If you're going to say "well if you try out other options and stuff to see which one you find the best suited for you, you might find one better" that kind of goes against what your point is. Yes, it is possibly true, but like you yourself said there are thousands of options to choose from. Do you somehow expect somebody to be able to test every single one of those thousands, if not millions of options, let alone find one better than the one they currently like to use the most? By your logic, the idea that there will be a "permanent option" is basically impossible, since you believe they need to test every single option in order to find the best for them. Every single build will be temporary due to that.

This is a similar problem I have with rainbow slap. People (including myself for a time) just label rainbow slap as bad because, well, it's rainbow slap and apparently that's bad. If you actually stop to look at the build presented, it might actually be ridiculously good. Of course, this isn't always the case, but take the time to actually look at the build and see what might be the cause of why it isn't as good as it maybe could be before automatically just saying "ew rainbow slap".

For the easy option part, that depends on the situation. I'm going to go off topic with two examples. Apocalypse's (as an example again) "lazy" way out of building it is just slapping tierstack (centipede, burnout, CoI, etc.) with lifesteal (pretty much just heat sink) together. That is basically the best option you have for Apocalypse. CSST is the lazy way out of grinding xp, but that doesn't change the fact that it is a good option for grinding xp in it's current state. Saying it is never a good option just because it is a lazy option is not always true. This also contradicts what you said, saying morph is good when using it YET at the same time saying it's not good when using it because it's lazy.

If you are actually telling the truth that you never labeled morph set as bad (which you have multiple times in the past said it is bad and still are labeling it as bad because it somehow can't be a "permanent option" for someone to use it) and just don't like it because it's uncreative (which it is), then stop trying to say people shouldn't use it because it is generic. If they don't want to use it, I'm not going to try and force them to use it either.

Im not gonna type out alot of stuff here, ill just summarize it the way I see it. Rainbow slap is an easy and not very creative option that is pretty much the easy way out for a good result, thats why I don't like it. Morph gives good damages and all around is a temporary fix that I've used for things such as questing and other activities, Is it good? Yes. Do I consider it an actual build? No. Should people use Morph as a permanent build? IMO, No. Thats what I think and its ok if you disagree. I've labelled Morph as "bad" before because it's 1) Blase and boring 2) easily slappable on a portion of a build to create an easy way out that does devastating damage. When I say "Morph is bad" Or "Rainbowslap is bad" Do i consider it by the literal meaning of "Bad?" No, I don't. These items and styles are effective but boring and I dislike them for it so I summarize it up by saying that it's "Bad." Lastly, I have a right to my own opinion as do you. I can say that people shouldn't use generic stlyes and maybe focus on more Out-of-the-box types of builds and experiment with what they think they might like.
I also did not mean to undermine you. When I said "you" I meant morph users. Alot of times I see people getting to level 100 and their first attempt at a build is full morph which they don't change and they use constantly because it was reccommended by a more experienced player. What I mean is to try to encourage use and experimentation with different playstyles to find what you might like. In the end, I'm sorry if it came out wrong but, everyone has their own opinion and I'm glad that I know yours now. Pretty happy to have had this conversation, I won't be continuing it though but I think it was quite interesting. Thanks!
