What Spell Combos To Use

I feel that as every other class besides assassin, I understand what spells to use to not get hurt, to stun, and basically to stay alive. Any tips on how to play assassin correctly? And how long does spin attack stun? I can never time it right and end up taking massive punishment.

 

As assassin, I usually use Spin + Multi and always keep a smoke bomb out. It works, but make sure to have 10 or 11 mana regen and about 105 - 114 intelligence.

 

Depends on the mob(s) your fighting + your build (Mana steal/regen defence and shit) aswell as your play style

Most people generally go for a cheeky

Spin attack --> Spin attack --> Smoke bomb OR A flash vanish (When you vanish then un-vanish really fast to reset your mana)

The double spin attack is because spin attack locks them in place is the highest avg dps spell for assassin (Taking into account that smoke bomb doesnt deal all its damage if a mob moves)

The smoke bomb variant is more for bosses or mobs with more health then usual (Spin attack stun locks them then smoke bomb deals alot of damage)

The Flash vanish or regular vanish is more for large mobs. spin attack deals alot of AoE damage then u vanish to reset mana or get away.


Multihit is really good BUT is really obnoxious when your in a party (Makes it hard for party members to do damage)

Assassin is very easy to play in the sense that most play styles are usable as u can Vanish and yeet away if shit goes south and regen health and mana before going back in. That in itself is a style alot of people use.

Vanish to the mob
Spin attack whilst in vanish (deals extra damage due to vanish buff and means u can get hit + spin lock them)
Smoke bomb
Vanish outa there regen mana health repeat

 

Yeah, these are great combos. I never really used assassin for anything other than LI though so I don't know much besides the boss killing combos. Also, keep in mind too that ranged mobs can sometimes attack pretty randomly when stunned and can get you killed. This usually happens right after you stun a ranged enemy or right before they'll come out of their stunned state. Trust me, it's happened to me way too many times.

 

Imagine if vanish worked like it was mean't to and Flame thrower couldn't idk SEE YOU when your INVISIBLE
