Now that you look at him, you see that he's a Kanid in about his mid thirties. He's wearing a shirt and a pair of pants down to his knees, however he's barefoot.

A man wearing heavy armor riding a horse which also is heavily armored stands right next to you, as you try to kill yourself.

"Which god do you worship, that makes you so eager to die."

He dismounts the horse and grabs by the collar lifting you up.
