What do stars ( * ) represent next to an item's stats?


For example: Mana Regen +1/4s**

 

it tells you how good of a roll you got

like if that item you have has a max of 2/4 mana regen, then ** means its 1 off or close to max
a single star means that it got a decent roll, and 3 stars means that its maxed

but theres some stupid math stuff so sometimes u can have a max stat but only 2 stars

ID = base value times roll. E.g. Capricorn has a base Mana Regen of 2. Blue Mask has a base of 15 in each state.

Three stars is a perfect max - roll of 1.30.

Two stars is a roll of 1.25 to 1.29. One star is 1.00 to 1.24 (not sure whether 1.25 is two stars or one, actually).

Any lower roll (0.30 to 0.99) gets zero stars.

Capricorn can roll 1.26 (two stars) and still get a max 3/4 Mana Regen, since 2.52 will round up to 3. In contrast, Blue Mask needs 1.30 to max, since 1.29*15 = 19.35, which rounds down.

Note negative IDs don't get stars, and also roll 0.70 to 1.30 instead of 0.30 to 1.30.
