Wynncraft On Hytale

I personally have very high hopes for Hytale, as I see it like a mixture of Terraria and Minecraft with a bit of Monster Hunter and maybe Dark Souls elements thrown into it. Now, that is very epic.

If Minecraft has Wynncraft, and Roblox has Fantastic Frontier, then Hytale which is built for RPGs will definitely have similar MMORPG servers cropping up as well. I would not mind trying out some of the MMORPG servers from Hytale because I believe that there would be some very good ones, but it is way too much effort to move Wynncraft to a different platform, and it would split the playerbase, which isn't that good for a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG, and a poor investment when more hands are already needed for the development of actual Wynncraft.

If the Wynncraft Team does ever look towards moving to Hytale some day, perhaps when Minecraft "actually dies" or when Wynncraft is ever "fully completed", it would be even better to create an entirely new MMORPG with a different name, plot and story, something fresh for a start. Since Wynncraft is already on Minecraft, it makes no sense in recreating an exact carbon copy of Wynncraft on Hytale again, as not everyone will be willing to buy Hytale anyways. A new story has more potential then repeating and recreating the same quests over again, to the player and the CT it becomes repetitive and boring.

I think recreating Wynncraft again on Hytale kinda feels like a waste. There is a lot of potential in Hytale but replaying the same story with better graphics don't really make things less repetitive, better to throw something unique and new.

 

Not to mention that it'd likely split the playerbase as the vast majority of people who already play aren't going to be willing to level all of their characters back up

 

Also, don't forget Hytale probably won't be F2P, so I'm not sure how much of the community would just not be able to play because of that

I'm almost sure I won't buy Hytale (unless it's like 3€), so for me it would just be the end of Wynncraft

Ice Bear is just afraid someone will copy wynncraft on Hytale and compete with wynncraft.

 

Ice Bear says good point but Ice Bear's main concern is that the tools Hytale gives will enable someone to excute and MMORPG type game better than Wynncraft. The problem with Zentrela and Dungeon Realms is they weren't executed as well as Wynncraft was and though Ice Bear assumes many people will remain loyal to Wynncraft the loyal player base is dying and a Wynncraft copy will steal any new source of players.

Ok. I think what you guys don't understand is that in my eyes, hytale replaces minecraft. It will have more players than minecraft, more updates than minecraft, and since it is made by modders and not corporate giants, it won't run out of steam too quickly. Minecraft is only still relevant becasue of the servers of modders that made plugins and the modders that made mods. Hytale trumps everything minecraft has, so there is no reason to keep playing minecraft.

Hytale is relevant. Within a week of the announcement trailer, all the minecraft youtubers have made a video on it. Everyone wants to play it.

Hytale is higher quality. Although everything is still based around blocks, it isn't as pixel based as minecraft. Massive amounts of armor stands aren't required for good looking mobs anymore, meaning that lower end computers can run wynncraft.

Hytale is flexible. Build in scripting enables content creators to create anything, in a way shorter amount of time than you can on minecraft. You could copy the whole of wynncraft singlehandedly in hytale in 2 months, provided that you had access to the map.

Hytale has no EULA yet. There is much more potential for actually making enough money to fund a full development team for wynncraft. Of course there will always be volunteers, but the wynncraft could get an update out every 3 months if stuff like the GC shop were allowed, paid-exclusive classes, or VIP town. There would also be more players on hytale because it is a funner game to play

If we don't make wynncraft on Hytale, someone else will make something similar, which will be more popular because it is on the game with more players. It is just to easy to make an mmo with all the tools given by hytale. I get that you guys are scared of change, but Hytale is legit better at everything. Sorry.

We don't need to bootleg on Hypixel. We went past their level in quality a long time ago.

Besides, I'm more than willing to spam every server they have with bots saying to go back onto minecraft and play us.

we spam until they implement a VAC ban or some shit like that.

Also let me tell you something, Hypixel knows how to do stuff but he doesn't know how to launch a game properly. He's probably going to stick a 20 dollar fine monthly to play it and then the game'll run out of steam within days.

He doesn't know how to. And he's too much of a control freak to let anyone else do it except him.

It's going to crash and burn, trust me.

i would say hytale is just a way to not have the minecraft eula, but you know... i cant confirm as i dont work for high pickle :P
also i dont think they are going to have servers like we have on minecraft

...what? The systems that were specificly designed for minecraft don't work on a game that's not minecraft? How could this happen? And look! The community is leaving! And the hytale audience has no intrest in wynncraft because most come from a minigame server? HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?!

 

To be honest, the wynncraft CT does far more work than making awfully simple mini-games, all Hypixel does is make a bed, four teams and when you break the bed it triggers to make the players unable to re-spawn, any slightly-experienced commander would be able to make that in maybe a few months or less, and they spew out millions from something extremely simple, on the other hand the Wynncraft team need to make custom mobs, spells and items, only not be noticed, also I wouldn't say Hytale shows that Hypixel is skillful or anything, all he does is hire people to do most of his work, he mostly spews some ideas and investment, the devs for Hytale even have guys from Blizzard! Also for some reason, everyone is overreacting on Hytale as if it was men's greatest achievement even though it's a game that doesn't even have very high graphics, it's clear Hypixel just doesn't do as much work, I don't hate Hypixel or Hytale I just don't like how it's being made, it's quite hard to run up with all this EULA stuff which doesn't let you do much, yet Mojang just lets Hypixel make them have something that's exactly like wynncraft Gold Coins, not understanding that they are definitely making money off something that wasn't theirs in the first place, just because the skin thing that wynncraft did gave Mojang some problems, it's just not fair to treat someone luxuriously when there are others who need it.

in reality though, why are we concerned? The players that are dedicated to this game will stay. Hytale needs a lil credit. They made a game that looks like minecraft should nowadays.

 

You know nothing about hytale

on their site they say they will make it monetizable for creators to make money off of their content, probably not going to have restrictions as hard as EULA

 

Not buying Hytale to play Wynncraft.
