Gold Coins Are Allowed Again?

I think that you can only buy cosmetic items with the gold coins. I don’t think that it will effect the outcome of a game. Please note that I could be wrong because I don’t no too much about gold coins or the eula.

 

I don’t really understand what exactly the benefits of gold coins. Buying something is the same is buying gold coins to buy something right?

Exactly, and as @Bramblesthatcat said, if no new accound are made, they won't make money.
The Minecraft hype is mostly dead now, so they have to find new way to get players, and a big, very well-known and player server sound perfect for that job

So did Mojang ask Wynn to remove the feature or did the Admins decide on their own to remove it to avoid pissing off Mojang?

On topic, Mojang ought to make those kinds of exceptions available to all servers instead of playing favorites, otherwise they're going to drive away the majority of small server owners.

 

I thought the eula was against pay to win so wynn could still have gold coins? Also why would being able to get things in game be against the eula?

I don’t have any direct proof, but I know the armor skins were removed because it was violating parts of Mojang’s rules, not breaking EULA.
And so what if Hypixel is “allowed” to do it. It’s still a cheap and wrong thing to do.

 

I'm fairly certain Wynn armorskins weren't explicitly breaking any rules, just pushing boundaries enough that Mojang got annoyed.

 

Messing with Mojang’s database constantly isn’t the best idea.

 

So how quickly are we gonna have people buying Admin on Hypixel for 2,000$ now?
