Gold Coins Are Allowed Again?

    So apparently they have added a thing called "Gold" in Hypixel, similar to the old Gold Coins we had here, you buy them from the store and buy stuff ingame with them
    I'm not sure about this but does this mean Gold Coins could come back? Or is Hypixel breaking the EULA with this?

    They're allowed because the only way to acquire the gold coins is to buy them. You could get them by playing in wynncraft and that was illegal (rip)

    I think you guys are wrong. The gold is just the (unreal) currency you buy with real money and with this gold you buy cosmetics etc.
    This should be allowed.

    According to the owner of Hypixel, they were given permission by Mojang that they could do this, as long as it isn't obtainable in-game.

    It's probably because of our armorskins, which were an old feature that had to be removed because it constantly changed the player's skins in Mojang's database or something, I don't know the specifics.


    On topic, it's stupid how Hypixel gets a free pass for stuff while servers that might actually need money to survive don't.
