Auction House Discussion

Professions tend to become a huge source of income in games and it does become hard to buy and sell unless there is a player market. I want to know if you guys think an Auction House will come along with this update and if so, would it be beneficial or a complete fail.

Also for people who don't want to comment, there is a poll!

 

This is suppose to go in the Wynncraft section.

 

I’m 90% sure the secret feature is an auction house since it’s an open structure in the few most important cities, it’s called the economy update, and it doesn’t require that much testing compared to other features.

Though not to be cynical for the sake of it or anything, but I am a little worried about the new professions system. Just based on my own experience and others so far, I fear that most players aren’t going to even bother with it. There have been slight improvements, but there are quite a few glaring issues which Nepta, I, and a few others have already touched upon in the Hero Feedback section if you’re interested.

 

I will def take a look at what you and others posted but that does seem kind of disappointing if it does turn out to be waste of time.

I have that same concern too. At this point I think the profession system will either flop and no one will touch it, chalking up the year long wait for an update as a waste, or it'll succeed and drastically change the game for the better. No in-between, at all. They really need to be careful about how they take their steps with this update, it completely changes how the game plays, and I feel like one wrong move could cost them a lot.

 

Well given the amount of feedback they received, I'm sure they are thinking of something. Though idk how much could change by the time it releases :/

Also, a little off topic, but everyone, please do not try food, potions, or scrolls for crafting until they balance and change crafting. They are objectively worse than regular potions and scrolls, and they aren't worth your time.

Speaking of ingredients, do all ingredients come in T0, 1, 2, and 3? Or is it just that certain powerful ingredients have higher tiers?

longevity is pretty bad tbh because as we can see it's instant damage so you actually just instantly die when you use it

 

Wait combat level 102? Wtheck?

 

This is the reason for the level cap increase to 104 (where 104 is the new 101, except more useless because skill points stop accumulating after 101). I assume it's because the formulas used to determine level requirements end up with 3 more above the highest ingredient levels, and it's easier to just add more levels than mess with the formula.

 

So its just to show how big of a no life you are?
