Oh... rip don't know why I thought it was 2 fragments per run. Still quite a lot, but not as bad.

 

Well if CIB becomes meta for leveling, then it probably wouldn't be too bad since your gonna have the fragments anyway before the time you get to the level to use the tool, but the rest of the dungeons are probably gonna be really tedious assuming it takes +1 fragment for each upgrade in tier

 

Eh... even if you bring a large party and speed through the token sections, the ice walls survival section and invisible path section slow things down quite a bit.

 

If you're quick enough you can pass the walls before they even spawn.

That's true, but it's hard with a group, and even solo I've never managed to pass through all three in a single run (usually I get through two).

 

Not really. I've done it with 2 other people before and we passed all of them together.
Although we all had 35/35 chestnuts sooooooooooooooooooo yeah

 

Yeah just getting a regular chestnut is costly enough, but upgrading it and being unable to sell it later is a pain.
