Lol, that's what they get. I feel bad for Mexicans now, but the government never should have allowed it to sell.

 

The Mexican government doesn't give two shits... they are busy with other issues like corrupt cops and people trying to bum rush the U.S. border

Saw this on Google and made an account to say, a lot of people are repeating this claim and it is

1. not backed by a reliable source(just this meme youtube video)
2. not mentioned at all in several reliable source's coverage of the incident(polygon, kotaku etc)
3. highly improbable and unprecedented requiring significant proof to be believed

Please stop repeating rumors and jokes as fact without thinking.

I welcome you to prove me wrong by posting additional evidence, such as a statement by an official Nintendo source, or a report by a reputable gaming journalism site.

Yes, youtube channels that uploaded leaked music were taken down. The claim is that Mexico, the country, has been banned from selling Nintendo products. Your argument and the claim are not connected.

If I do recall, nintendo did strike people for playing their games and posting it to a media site i.e Youtube and Twitch, so it is possible that nintendo would do something over the top of this nature.

Those links, which I've already seen, show that *people* have been banned. On specific sites. For uploading leaked content. Not a whole country.
